Rootbreaker
A colossal six-limbed forest apex predator whose armored skull and explosive charges can pulverize giant trees and overturn heavy machines.
About
Rootbreaker is the first true nightmare Duotian encounters after crashing into Axiarch's wilderness. Thirty-four meters of plated muscle, reinforced bone, six crushing limbs, and enough momentum to turn ancient trees into flying debris. It does not cultivate. It does not possess a spiritual core. It does not need either. Rootbreaker senses deep vibration through specialized structures in its jaw and forelimbs. The impact of an entire cultivation enclave tearing through the forest is therefore less an arrival and more somebody ringing a dinner bell with a mountain. Whether it comes to hunt, investigate, defend territory, or simply remove the enormous new object that landed inside its domain remains to be discovered. The forest does not move around Rootbreaker. Rootbreaker moves the forest.
