Iron Choir

A colossal subterranean predator whose biological resonance chambers weaponize infrasonic pressure before it erupts upward through fractured ground.

About

Iron Choir is usually heard before it is seen. Unfortunately, "heard" is generous. The first warning may be nausea. Then balance goes wrong. Teeth vibrate. Loose stone crawls across the ground. Conversation becomes difficult. And somewhere beneath forty meters of armored flesh, multiple biological resonance chambers begin singing together. Iron Choir spends much of its life beneath forests, caverns, fractured rock, and deep root systems. When it decides something above is worth reaching, the earth stops being reliable. Duotian may initially assume the pressure is some monstrous sonic cultivation technique. It isn't. Axiarch biology merely discovered infrasonics and became extremely rude about it.
