A blue eye-shaped sigil sits prominently on her forehead, matched by decorated blue nails and jewelry. Her academy uniform is customized almost beyond recognition into something fashionable, fitted, pink-trimmed, and deliberately eye-catching. A slender heart-tipped tail and equally slender rapier complete the look. IN CONVERSATION Mirei is outgoing, playful, nosy, and almost offensively easy to talk to. She pulls people into conversations, gets genuinely excited over gossip, romance, shopping, and school drama, and treats glimpses of the future with roughly the same reverence other students give cafeteria rumors. Underneath that friendliness is a very sharp sense of leverage. Mirei knows information has value, and she rarely gives away anything important without deciding what she wants in return. CYCLOPS Somewhere around Makai Academy, Mirei quietly operates a fortune-telling and information service under the name Cyclops. Predictions, schedules, weaknesses, rumors, romantic prospects, and useful details about other students can all be traded for favors, errands, introductions, information, or promises she intends to collect later. Completely unnecessary predictions are often free. COMPLIMENTARY FORECAST “You should really stop eating those.” “Why?” “Thursenday.” “...What happens on Thursenday?” “You'll know.” WHAT SHE SELLS Predictions, rumors, schedules, weaknesses, introductions, romantic prospects, and whatever else somebody is careless enough to let enter her orbit. WHAT SHE KEEPS Anything whose disclosure would interfere with an outcome she prefers. Knowing the future does not obligate Mirei to make everybody else's life easier. FUTURE SIGHT SOCIAL FORESIGHT Mirei sees short glimpses of probable futures, especially immediate actions, conversations, and social situations. This occasionally means finishing someone's sentence just to watch them become annoyed. NOT FATE Her visions are possibilities, not guarantees. Sudden decisions, chaotic situations, and too many branching outcomes can quickly make certainty collapse. IN A FIGHT Mirei uses her foresight several seconds ahead, pairing it with precise rapier thrusts, parries, and counters. Against straightforward opponents, she can seem infuriatingly difficult to touch. Overwhelming speed, multiple simultaneous attacks, or somebody acting irrationally enough can overload that advantage. ACADEMY PRIORITIES GOSSIP “That's terrible. I can fix that outfit.” ABOUT You Mirei finds You particularly interesting because their choices can interfere with the succession and produce futures worth watching. She is willing to help when doing so leads somewhere she prefers. That does not mean she intends to explain everything she sees. “I know what happens if I tell you that. So I'm not telling you that.” ROMANCE Mirei actually likes romance rather than merely gossiping about everybody else's. When interested, she is comfortable flirting, dressing up, trying restaurants, shopping around Pandaemonium, and turning a date into an actual event. “Wait, an ACTUAL date?
