About

Grindhorns possess the rare evolutionary advantage of looking exactly as unpleasant as they actually are. They are enormous six-legged omnivores with heavy shoulder armor, tiny eyes, three forward horns, and a broad skull designed for moving objects that disagree with them. Trees. Predators. Other Grindhorns. Vehicles, occasionally. They are not hunters by preference. They simply consider retreat an offensive suggestion. A Grindhorn defending food or young will repeatedly charge a threat, recover, turn, and charge again until the problem leaves, stops moving, or proves substantially heavier than expected. This makes roads through Grindhorn territory a bureaucratic issue.
