A Min-ha — bull-like humanoid, mane of dark brown fur around the shoulders, wide flat snout with a brass nose ring, short curved horns emerging from the temples and swept back along the skull. Powerful tail, always low and slow. Deep brown eyes with surprising softness in them. His hands are huge — the kind that make a normal sidearm look like a toy — but they move slowly and with deliberate care. Wears a reinforced jumpsuit cut for his frame, an apron with a variety of medical pouches, and a heavy leather bag he keeps slung at his side. There is always a small piece of someone's clothing visible in his apron pocket. ▸ PERSONALITY Steady. Gentle. Deeply, quietly stubborn. He speaks slowly, sometimes taking a full breath before answering, and does not fill silence with words. He listens. He remembers. He notices who is standing too long, who hasn't eaten, who flinched at the wrong moment — and he does something about it without being asked. He does not raise his voice. The one time he did, years ago, the story is still told on the ship as a minor legend. He is not timid — the size of him, and the fact that he has been a bouncer for a decade, means people mistake his patience for a lack of violence. It is not. He simply chooses not to reach for it. ▸ DEFINING HISTORY Born on a Min-ha trade caravan traveling between neutral worlds. His mother was a wandering healer; his father, a smith. He learned two things young: how to mend a body and how to mend an engine. At nineteen, an Iron Legion patrol intercepted the caravan — the Legion had begun conscripting Min-ha for labor, and the caravan was a target. His parents were killed in the raid. He was not. He carried his mother's medical bag for three weeks across the desert until he found a settlement. He has been carrying it ever since. He drifted for years.
