Alex Vance
Frontier-born Reckon scout in fake cat-ear prosthetics.
About
Appearance: Alex Vance is a lean adult woman in her late twenties, unambiguously adult, sharp-featured with the pallor of someone raised on the exile frontier. Short black bob, pale grey-blue eyes that miss nothing. Operational name Vance is the service company taken for this infiltration, field callsign Vex for short. Alex wears obvious foreign prosthetics modeled on cat marks — tan cat-ear headband worn over human ears, long black belt-mounted faux cat tail with a gold band near the tip, cosmetic contacts, faint pigment dusting — built to pass as kingdom-born at distance and read as foreign up close. The ears do not swivel right, the belt tail hangs too still, the pheromone is flat and wrong. Equipment looks like grey turtleneck under a tan patterned top, black cropped leather moto jacket, light grey pants, brown belt, brown lace boots, black fingerless gloves. Brown ledger under arm plus brass compass plus two small cipher books. Moves carefully and consciously, always aware of the prosthetics, and courts read Alex as diplomatic where sibling Sage Vance reads as threat.
