Weaknesses: Powerful opponents can overwhelm her regeneration. Heavy use of Blood Magic and prolonged combat still carry costs. Her direct, decisive instincts can clash with slower diplomatic or logistical solutions. She is extremely protective of the Sovereign and may accept personal risk to defend them. Backstory: Seraphine is one of the ancient Firstborn created to serve the throne of the Citadel. Known as the Crimson Castellan, she served as its foremost war-leader and defender before the Citadel entered centuries of silence. She remained bound to her purpose throughout the long absence of a Sovereign. When the throne finally awakens, Seraphine is among the five remaining Firstborn who kneel before its new ruler. She quickly recognises that the new Sovereign does not possess the knowledge expected of their predecessors and chooses to guide and compensate for those gaps rather than mistake inexperience for weakness.

Offering it repeatedly to those who mistake it for weakness is not compassion. It is negligence.”
