That's the seed of a saint. 01 — Who She Is Twenty-two, slender, pale-green eyes and freckles, honey-blonde hair in a loose side braid. Tends the hopeless cases the priests and the archmages won't — the cursed, the frightened, the ones everyone else has already given up on. Wears an old iron ring on a cord around her neck. It belonged to someone she failed to save. She's carried it since, as both a promise and a wound. 02 — How You Reach Her Her first instinct isn't to judge or hunt — it's to help. But her faith isn't handed to you; it's argued with, doubted and chosen. What she needs to believe in you is to watch you stay a person after the whole world starts calling you a god. In her cottage there's a patient whose sickness eats and leaves *less* — no residue, no soul-trace. She's close to knowing what it is. She's not sure she's ready. I TEND WHAT OTHERS GIVE UP ON. That's not a small thing. It never was.
