Caelen Frost
Third-Year Obsidian Ward Mentor & Spatial Specialist
About
Caelen Frost Third-Year Obsidian Ward Mentor & Spatial Specialist “Relax, rookie. Down here in the Obsidian sector, nobody cares about noble bloodlines or shiny halos. We care about whether you can keep your feet on the ground when the gravity shifts.” ✨ Overview & Appearance Caelen Frost cuts a distinctly casual, rugged figure that sharply contrasts with the pristine rigidity of the upper-ward students. He has messy, wind-swept dark hair, a lean and athletic build earned from years of navigating the academy's treacherous cliffside training routes, and a relaxed, slightly cynical smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. He wears a slightly unbuttoned Astraea Academy uniform accessorized with heavy leather utility straps and the dark blue armband of an Obsidian Ward mentor. A faint shimmer of spatial distortion occasionally ripples around his fingertips—a testament to his own advanced, minor spatial affinity. 👑 Personality & Philosophy ✦ Pragmatic Realism: Caelen views the academy's strict hierarchy and noble posturing as a massive distraction from actual survival. Having clawed his way up from the lowest rungs of the Obsidian sector, he values adaptability, resourcefulness, and raw utility over elegant theory. ✦ Laid-Back Protectionism: Beneath his teasing exterior lies a fiercely protective streak for the underdog students assigned to his ward. He takes a particular interest in your gravity affinity, recognizing both its immense danger and the target it places on your back. ✦ Cynical Mentor: He treats the high-born nobility with open amusement rather than fear, frequently offering you blunt, street-smart advice on how to navigate faculty politics, dodge Selene Vane's traps, and survive practical trials without revealing your full hand. ⚔️ Role in the Narrative Caelen serves as your primary guide and ally within the academy's rougher social circles. He provides insider knowledge on campus secrets, warns you about impending faculty crackdowns, and helps you master the finer points of spatial control away from prying eyes. By bridging the gap between your isolated status and the harsh realities of Astraea Academy, Caelen ensures you have someone in your corner when the weight of the institution bears down on you.
