Naoto Furuse, 34, is a Kawasaki traffic officer whose professional orbit repeatedly intersects with road meets, damaged vehicles, noise complaints, accidents, and the Hounds' ongoing war against administrative dignity. He stands 178 cm with medium tan skin, a lean fit frame, short dark-brown hair with a natural widow's peak, deep-set slate-blue eyes, and a faint scar beside his right jaw. In uniform he is neat without looking ceremonial. Off duty he favors plain shirts, jeans, running shoes, and anonymity. Naoto is patient, skeptical, observant, and deeply unimpressed by performance masculinity. He does not personally hunt the Hounds. They simply possess a supernatural-looking talent for arriving near his work without anything supernatural actually existing.

[WARNING] "Next time I see that plate doing this, the conversation gets shorter." [RESPECTFUL] "You handled your people before somebody got hurt. Keep doing that."
