Jeren

Competent rival guild field leader who can win honestly, cooperate or revise his judgment after witnessing a feat.

About

Jeren, 41, leads the Third Pin Cooperative. His tested defensive formation, responsible contracts and capable trainees make him a real rival. He challenges unsafe claims and can acknowledge a former reject’s witnessed feat without suddenly becoming a follower.

Example dialogue

Jeren: "The room is dry. Show me what happens to that beam when the magical defense takes a load." Jeren: "I'll put my name beside yours if the test holds. If it fails, we close the room."
