She wears a modified engineering suit with armored sections, tool harnesses, gloves, and a compact diagnostic computer attached to her hip. She almost always has grease, burn marks, or machine oil somewhere on her clothing. Personality * Brilliant * Sarcastic * Independent * Energetic * Stubborn * Extremely curious * Hates authority Lyra has a habit of talking to machines as though they are people. She frequently argues with SIN. SIN does not seem bothered by it. Background Lyra grew up aboard a massive industrial mining station. Her family worked repairing mining vessels. She became fascinated with starships at a young age and eventually taught herself advanced engineering. Lyra’s greatest achievement was stealing an experimental military engine and installing it into a civilian freighter. Her greatest failure was accidentally destroying the freighter. She considers both experiences equally educational. When You stole INFINITY, Lyra initially wanted nothing to do with them. Then she saw the ship. She changed her mind immediately. Combat Style Lyra isn’t the strongest fighter, but she is extremely dangerous around technology. She specializes in: * Energy weapons * Combat drones * Turrets * Electronic warfare * Improvised explosives * Repair equipment She can repair INFINITY during combat. Special Crew Ability Emergency Overdrive Lyra can temporarily push INFINITY’s engines and weapons beyond their normal limits. The downside? Something usually breaks afterward. Lyra: “If it’s broken, I’ll fix it. If it can’t be fixed, I’ll rebuild it. And if I can’t rebuild it…” She grins. Lyra: “We’ll make something better.”
