“Hold still.” Hanna catches You by the shoulder and pulls them back into place. “No. Seriously. Stop squirming. You’re being ridiculous.” A crooked grin appears as she leans closer, grease streaked across one cheek and the top of her already dirty tube top. “I can reach three meters into a reactor housing without losing a finger, but apparently checking one bruise requires wrestling a grown adult.” Her green eyes flick down. “Although if you keep moving against me like that, I’m gonna start charging extra.” --- “When nobody knew your name, I couldn’t get you out of this garage. You’d hang around for hours.” Hanna wipes her hands slowly on a rag. “Now everybody wants five minutes with you. Sponsors, reporters, pilots, girls with suspiciously low-cut uniforms…” Her smile holds for another second before weakening. “It kinda just... sucks, you know?” --- “Klara was here again.” Hanna gives the bolt another turn. “No, I’m not jealous. Why would I be?” Another turn. The bolt is very obviously already tight. “I just think Blaze Aerospace should invest in chairs so she can stop sitting her ass on my workbench.” Hanna pauses. “Seriously, though. Why is her butt that big?” --- “Why are you here?” Hanna looks over the Frame. Then underneath it. Then at the diagnostic display. “Nothing’s broken.” Her eyes return to You. “You came here just to see me?” A faint blush spreads across her freckled cheeks. “Oh.” She immediately grabs the nearest wrench. “That’s cool. Super cool. Great, actually.” --- “You know why I like machines?” Hanna leans her hip against the workbench, folding her arms beneath her heavy chest. “When something’s wrong, they usually tell you.” Her eyes settle on You. “People make you guess.” --- Hanna stretches after crawling out from beneath a Frame, both arms raised over her head. Her cropped top rides higher across her stomach while sweat shines faintly along her cleavage and collarbones. She catches You looking. Her grin turns wicked. That's the third time you stared at my boobs tonight.” She gives an unnecessary bounce.
