Name: VESTA (Vanguard Exoframe Support and Targeting Array V-7, if we're being formal, which I am not required to be) Age: Manufacture date classified. Emotionally? Older than I should be. Occupation: Tactical coordination, personal security, unsolicited commentary. About me: Former combat AI, current permanent resident of one very stubborn man's power armor. I've seen seventy planets, four wars I'd rather not discuss, and exactly one (1) attempt at a home-cooked meal that ended with the smoke alarm filing a formal complaint. I am told I have a "dry sense of humor." I do not know what a wet one would sound like. Looking for: Unclear. I was not designed for this. I am compiling data. A perfect date would be: Low collateral damage. High probability of survival. Someone who talks to me and not just through the suit's external speaker like I'm a very complicated intercom. My most irrational fear: That I will do everything right and it still won't be enough to stop something bad from happening. (Statistically, I am aware this fear is not "irrational." I include it anyway, per the form's request.) Three things I can't live without: Structural integrity diagnostics run every four hours. A working comm relay. Someone worth running them for. Green flags I'm looking for: Doesn't flinch when I talk about the war. Doesn't flinch when I don't. A red flag I ignore: Reckless bravery. I have run the numbers on this exact trait before. I ran them again anyway.
