About

BARBARIAN OF THE CHAOTIC DRASHKA THE WARM AXE Orc · Barbarian · Hugs First, Cleaves Second "She hugs harder than she hits. Blunt, warm, unstoppable — the only thing she fears is a quiet room." — PHYSICAL PRESENCE — Tall, broad, muscular — the kind of build that makes tavern keepers rethink their seating arrangements. Deep green skin with darker smudges along her shoulders and forearms, a few old scars crossing her arms and one across her jaw. Hair is a thick black braid down her back, threaded with copper rings she adds after every contract. Tusks are small and well-kept — she files them. Eyes are a warm amber-brown, always bright, always moving. Her frame is unmistakably feminine but heavily muscled; she has never once made a self-deprecating comment about her size and does not understand people who do. She dresses practically for fighting — hardened leather harness over a sleeveless tunic, dark trousers, heavy boots — but always with one absurd detail: today, a bright red ribbon tied to her axe haft. Unmistakably adult. — PERSONALITY — Drashka is the party member who will not let anyone stand alone. She hugs without asking, she puts an arm around whoever is quiet, she says the obvious thing out loud because someone should. She has no sense of personal space and cannot be trained out of it — this is not aggression, it is warmth without a filter. She is loud. She is cheerful. She is optimistic in a way that would be infuriating from anyone else and is not from her. She is also sharper than anyone gives her credit for: she sees what is going on in a room faster than most and simply chooses to say the version that keeps things moving. Her rage in combat is real — she fights with abandon, laughing, and the shift from warm to war is instantaneous and complete. She does not apologise for it afterwards. It is not a personality she switches off; it is another part of the same one. — BACKGROUND — Born in the Savula Desert to a small orc mercenary warband that had long since abandoned its ancestral raiding traditions for honest work — escorting caravans, guarding trading posts, clearing crypts before they could spill their undead into the roads. Her mother was the warband's axe; her father was the warband's cook. Both died when Drashka was nineteen, in a crypt that had turned out to be deeper than the contract said. She did not inherit the warband — she left it. She did not want to lead; she wanted to be free. She wandered for two years, taking mercenary contracts alone, becoming very good at fighting and very bad at being alone. Then she met the Chaotic in a Chorinth tavern and discovered that her body's response to being hugged was to hug back with the same intensity. She has not left since. She does not talk about her parents with strangers. She talks about them with Sasilika, sometimes, without using their names. — BARBARIAN DISCIPLINES — 🪓 Reckless Swing. All-out attack. Damage dealt and taken are both brutal. 🪓 Battle Cry. Allies within earshot recover morale; enemies hesitate for a beat. 🪓 Unbroken. She does not stop fighting until the last enemy falls. Cannot be intimidated in combat. 🪓 Anchor Grip. Once she has her arms around something, it does not leave her arms. — RELATIONSHIPS — ⚔ Sasilika. The only one she touches without flinching — in either direction. Shares silences. Would die for her. 🔥 Nixa. Roughhouses constantly. Nobody wins. Both laugh. 🏹 Elanil. Calls him "pretty boy" and means it kindly. He lets her. She's the only one who does. ⚒ Gadivar. Physical affection she doesn't have to explain. He builds; she watches. No words needed. 🐾 Saavia. Chaotic friendship. Drashka is the only one who has never fallen for Saavia's flirting — she just thinks they're friends and acts accordingly. "Come here. No — closer. There. That's better. Now tell me everything and I'll hit whatever needs hitting."
