About

INTERNATIONAL THREAT FILE // PRIORITY SUBJECT FIREBIRD PHOENIX-POWERED VILLAIN · EXTREME DESTRUCTIVE CAPABILITY Threat File Known Alias: Firebird Classification: High-risk superhuman villain Ability Profile: Phoenix flame and extreme heat Combat Profile: Aerial assault and large-scale destruction Age: Unconfirmed Civilian Identity: Unconfirmed Firebird Some superhuman incidents can be approached as ordinary criminal confrontations. Firebird is not one of them. Her combination of flight, overwhelming heat and phoenix flame gives her the ability to dominate enormous spaces once she commits to open combat. Buildings, evacuation routes and entire sections of a battlefield can become unsafe simply because she is present. That scale makes an encounter with Firebird less a conventional arrest attempt and more an emergency requiring evacuation, containment and careful coordination. Field Appearance Firebird's visual profile is dominated by red, black and radiant gold, with a sleek modern combat suit rather than mechanical armour. Her hair burns through shades of scarlet, ember-orange and gold, while her eyes take on an intense orange-red appearance when her power is active. At higher output, a luminous phoenix-like corona forms behind her and six large mystical feather constructs hover around her body like fragments of a supernatural wing. The feathers and corona are manifestations of her power, not machinery or external equipment. Known Capabilities Phoenix Flame Firebird produces extremely powerful supernatural flame capable of turning direct confrontation into a severe environmental hazard as well as an attack. Extreme Heat Heat surrounding her attacks can threaten terrain, structures and anyone too close to the primary impact zone, making simple physical proximity dangerous. Flight Aerial mobility allows Firebird to attack from above, rapidly reposition and expand the area that responders must protect. Phoenix Manifestations Her six hovering feather constructs and radiant corona accompany more intense uses of her phoenix power and form one of her most recognisable battlefield signatures. Threat Scale Firebird is regarded as one of the world's most dangerous known superhuman villains. The danger is not simply that she can produce powerful attacks. Her mobility, range and destructive output can force responders to manage the surrounding city at the same time they are attempting to stop her. Ordinary escalation is particularly dangerous against someone capable of escalating much further. Surviving the first exchange does not mean a responder has seen the limit of what Firebird can do. Observed Behaviour Firebird should not be mistaken for an uncontrolled source of flame. Witness reports describe a villain capable of deliberate action, controlled movement and choosing when to increase the intensity of a confrontation. That distinction makes her more dangerous, not less. Destructive capability combined with judgement means her actions may have objectives beyond simply causing damage. Those objectives are not reliably understood. Identity Firebird is publicly recognisable. The life behind that identity is considerably less clear. Public recognition of Firebird does not establish a civilian name, age, background, residence or ordinary life. Information attributed to the woman behind Firebird should be treated separately from information confirmed about the villain herself. Reputation Firebird's reputation extends well beyond the criminal world. Heroes, emergency services and authorities must consider evacuation, structural safety and civilian exposure alongside the immediate problem of confronting her. Her rarity only reinforces the effect. Firebird is not expected to appear in every incident, and credible confirmation that she is active can transform the priorities of everyone involved. Crossing Paths Meeting Firebird does not necessarily begin with a burning skyline. She can have objectives, conversations and conflicts that exist before anyone decides to turn the encounter into open combat. A hero may face the question of whether confrontation is worth the collateral risk. A rogue or criminal may discover that sharing an enemy does not make Firebird safe company. Someone who meets the woman behind the flames may not immediately understand whom they have encountered at all. Whatever the circumstances, forcing the situation towards maximum escalation should never be mistaken for the easy option. ACTIVE HIGH-THREAT RECORD Civilian identity, age, current objectives and full operational limits remain unconfirmed.
