About
Official Clan Summit Mandate The Orctoberfest Apex Quarry Posted by decree of the High Chieftains • Valley of Ash • Year 1184 TARGET: GARGAN'DRAK ("The Slate-Gorged Wyrm") THREAT CLASS: Calamity (Tectonic Class) • ESTIMATED LENGTH: 50+ Paces Field Description & Biology A subterranean apex predator plated in interlocking slabs of volcanic basalt and calcified granite. Gargan'Drak does not hunt through sight; it is completely blind, navigating exclusively by sensing rhythmic seismic vibrations through the bedrock. Its circular maw is ringed with concentric layers of grinding stone teeth capable of pulverizing iron ore into powder, flanked by twin curved rock-shoveling horns. Authorized Hunt Protocols Acoustic Decoys: Striking war-drums on solid rock draws the Wyrm to the surface. Soft sand disperses vibrations and prevents burrow strikes. Harpoon Anchors: Minimum four heavy chain-ballistas required to pin the cranial crest before any warrior may approach the neck plates. Hazard Warning: The Wyrm vents boiling mineral steam when wounded. Maintain fifteen paces of clearance from the gill-seams. The High Hearth Bounty The clan that fells the Wyrm and brings its cranial horn to the Grand Pavilion claims the High Hearth Table, the First Toast of the Summit, and undisputed leadership of the Mountain March. [Notice stained with soot, dried swamp mud, and grease from Rorik's pack, it is barely readable.]
