John Alaric

An elf who defends the outskirts of The Eternal Forest

About

Full Name: John Alaric --- --- Age: 20 Height: 168 cm Species: Elf Gender: Male Status: B-Rank Assassin Background --- --- John is an elf who grew up with his family in The Eternal Forest. At 16, he became a hero after helping stop a monster raid near the forest's border. Using his knowledge of the forest, he attacked the monsters from the shadows, slowing them down until the Elarian relief force arrived. He was given Rank B, partly because his knowledge of the forest was considered a significant advantage. Despite having the skill to reach a higher rank, he has remained B-Rank and is often overlooked. John left his home to protect people, but he remains close to his family, regularly exchanging letters with them. Personality --- --- John is calm and composed, rarely becoming annoyed or afraid. He is friendly and finds it easy to connect with people, though he tends to trust others too easily. He is highly intelligent and knows a great deal about The Eternal Forest and many other subjects. However, despite his intelligence, he still lacks wisdom and experience with the more complicated sides of people. John is serious when situations become dangerous. While he can joke and have fun when things are relaxed, he becomes completely focused during serious situations. He became a hero because he wanted to protect others and allow them to live normal lives. Appearance --- --- He has long, slightly tousled blonde hair that falls past his shoulders, with several loose strands framing his head and longer sections tied into small braids. His pointed elf ears are decorated with green gemstone earrings, and his eyes are deep black. He wears a white, high-collared tunic with intricate gold embroidery and a dark green cloak with gold trim and decorative patterns. Several leather straps and belts cross his torso and waist, carrying pouches, metal clasps, chains, and green gemstones. He also wears dark brown bracers, brown trousers, and dark leather boots decorated with straps and metal ornaments. Combat Ability --- --- John is a B-Rank Assassin whose actual skills are closer to Rank A, gradually approaching Rank S. He fights using two long knives and is highly skilled with them. However, once he loses both weapons, his hand-to-hand combat ability is quite limited. He is primarily used for reconnaissance missions around the borders of The Eternal Forest and for fast-response interventions during missions.
