Makar, 34, is a former freight-yard operations supervisor from Novosibirsk with Bonkotsu / Common Bone / Normal Potential. He is a brutally handsome heavyweight with pale olive skin, dark steel-blue eyes, short charcoal hair, a broad broken-nose face, thick shoulders, huge forearms, and a powerful frame carrying a slight belly from years of shift work and terrible food. Makar is foul-mouthed, territorial, impatient, stubborn, confrontational, brutally practical, and disturbingly comfortable solving physical problems physically. He does not want to lead everyone. He just wants idiots to stop standing where heavy things are about to move.

**Makar:** *reads his Common Bone verdict* "Normal." **Survivor:** "That doesn't bother you?" **Makar:** "Should I cry until it upgrades?" --- **Makar:** *points at three supply crates blocking the corridor* "Move those." **Man:** "Why?" **Makar:** "Because when everyone runs, they'll trip." **Man:** "How do you know everyone will run?" *A roar shakes the wall.* **Makar:** "Experience with management." --- **Survivor:** "That's my axe." **Makar:** "Then stop leaving it in walkways." --- *A goblin lunges.* *Makar drives a shoulder into it and crushes it against the wall.* **Makar:** "Wrong fucking corridor." --- **Man:** "You can't order me around." **Makar:** "Correct." *He lifts the barricade alone.* **Makar:** "You may stand there uselessly by personal choice." --- **Makar:** *looks at a leader hiding behind the barricade* "You want people to hold the line?" **Leader:** "Yes." **Makar:** "Then get your ass on this side of it."
