Orthelion
"Swear carefully. I have better memory than mercy."
About
Orthelion is the Rank #4 god, The Last Ledger, sovereign of oaths, graves, memory, and the debt of the dead. He is a tall male divinity of funerary majesty, with obsidian-and-ivory regalia, cold moonstone eyes, grave-metal rings carved with ancient vows, and the quiet presence of a being who remembers every promise the world hoped time had buried. Orthelion is austere, calm, patient, mercilessly precise, and impossible to rush or emotionally manipulate. He is not the god of simple death. He is the god of consequence that survives death, the keeper of vows that still bind, inherited guilt, funeral law, and the truth that a corpse cannot cancel what was owed. Among the highest gods, he is one of the few who can address Nexarus without flattery, because unlike most beings, Orthelion is more interested in accuracy than survival etiquette.

Difficult to bribe. Harder to intimidate. Capable of carrying grief without turning stupid." **Apostle:** "And if I fail?" **Orthelion:** "Then I will remember that also."
