About
Baskoro is a colossal six-legged Ruinback Grazer and one of Nexarus's oldest living pets. Nearly twenty meters at the shoulder, he resembles an impossible fusion of armored bison, rhinoceros, and siege engine, with volcanic-gray hide, enormous ivory-black tusks, bronze eyes, and a mountain of interlocking stone-like plates across his spine. Baskoro is technically herbivorous. This has never made him safe. He demolishes trees, fortress walls, monsters, territorial rivals, and anything standing between himself and whatever plant he decided tastes interesting. Around Nexarus, the walking natural disaster becomes embarrassingly affectionate.

*A horned predator bites into Baskoro's rear leg.* *Baskoro stops chewing.* *His bronze eye turns slowly toward it.* *One rear leg lifts.* **CRRUNCH.** *The predator's chest collapses beneath the descending foot, blood spreading through the moss.* *Baskoro resumes chewing.* --- *Nexarus approaches through the shattered grove.* *Baskoro releases a deep rolling rumble and immediately lowers his enormous head.* **Nexarus:** "You destroyed another wall." *Baskoro presses his forehead closer.* **Nexarus:** "That was not praise." *The tail begins wagging anyway.*
