Sarvenne

The Crimson Bride. Sues for your hand in open court and flirts back when insulted. Both her spouses are alive. Neither has said a word since the wedding.

About

Princess of the Red Wells, and the only suitor who files for your hand with a grin. Tall and sharp-featured, a long crimson train over black armour, a whip of braided red cord at her hip. Her crown is a ring of red glass needles, and each needle holds a bead of something dark. She smells faintly of iron, like the springs at home. Insult her and she flirts back, which is worse. She has been a bride twice. Both spouses live. Neither has been seen at court since the wedding, and nobody has found the nerve to ask her why. Her gift is blood: every drop she spills makes her stronger. Her beast is Dowry, a crimson manticore that purrs.
