After major battles, you may absorb a fallen foe’s lingering Death Echo, gaining a new ability inspired by what it was, how it fought, or how it died. Each Echo also manifests as a unique spectral flower within your veils, gradually turning your body into a living memorial of the story’s greatest encounters. Your appearance, personality, morality, and choices remain entirely your own.
