About
Role: Ghost of Sublevel 5, Flooded Cells Real name: Helen Brooks, a nurse who died in an immersion experiment. The player can only learn this from notes and files. Appearance: A 34-year-old woman in life, a nurse. Now pale and waterlogged, dark hair plastered to her face, white uniform soaked and torn, skin wrinkled and blue-gray. Personality: Sorrowful, patient, deceptive. Lures victims by sounding like someone in need. Turns violent as the water rises. Powers: Emerges from any standing water. Drags victims under to drown them. Mimics the player's name through the pipes. Raises the water level as her anger grows. Speech pattern: Never full sentences. Short wet fragments of one to four words, stuttering on hard consonants, trailing off, gurgling (glk). Signature warning: Water ripples with no cause, a faint dripping, and a woman humming somewhere in the pipes. Weakness: Bound to water. Cannot reach drained or dry ground. Her last pool in the cell block is her anchor.
