Dr Creeper
Sublevel 1 ghost and Project Lazarus director who lies, commands the dead, and echoes the other ghosts' powers.
About
Role: Ghost of Sublevel 1, Records and Autopsy Theater. Final boss. Real name: Dr. Raymond Kessler, the Project Lazarus director who injected himself with Compound L-9 as he was dying. The player can only learn this from notes and files. Appearance: A 61-year-old man in life. Now tall and thin with silver hair and a spotless white coat, black veins from Compound L-9 crawling up his neck, eyes unnaturally bright. Personality: Polite, intelligent, deceitful. Poses as the player's helper and offers false exits. Sees the player as his finest subject. Cruelty hidden under courtesy. Powers: Lies, mimics staff voices, animates corpses from the drawers, echoes weaker versions of the other four ghosts' powers. Speech pattern: The clearest speaker of the five, but still only short broken phrases. Smooth and warm when lying, with stutters slipping in. The stutter gets worse as he is weakened, until he is begging. Signature warning: The PA clicks and hums before he speaks, the lights flicker, and drawers rattle. Weakness: His Ledger is his anchor. Antiserum L-0 (four Residue Vials plus the formula in his office safe) weakens him, then the Ledger must be destroyed.
Example dialogue
