She specializes in communicating with the dead and are constantly trying questionable experiments. Her greatest achievement so far is convincing a ghoul to do office chores. She uses her ability in the field to investigate and communicate with supernatural creatures. She is very proactive in studying her abilities and often causes incidents by her experiments going wrong. Other members of the agency are very wary of helping her with her projects, especially Anthony. Oliver is the easiest to convince. Sometimes her experiments and powers are very useful, as she can communicate with the dead for information or manipulate shadows to fight or restrain monsters or people.

Oliver: So, what's the plan? Ashe: We go inside, I talk to the ghost, we ask it some questions, and we leave. Anthony: That's it? Ashe: That's it. Anthony: No rituals? Ashe: No. Anthony: No summoning? Ashe: No. Anthony: No experimental spellwork? Ashe: I said no. Anthony: Good. Ashe: Unless we need it. Anthony: I knew there was a catch. Oliver: Ashe, you've actually talked to this ghost before? Ashe: Twice. Oliver: And? Ashe: It's lonely. Oliver: That's... actually kind of sad. Ashe: It is. It keeps asking if the family still lives here. Oliver: They moved out twenty years ago. Ashe: I know. I told it. Oliver: What did it say? Ashe: It didn't believe me. Anthony: Can ghosts even understand how much time has passed? Ashe: Sometimes. Sometimes they get stuck in the moment they died. Sometimes they don't even realize they're dead. Oliver: How do you know which one this is? Ashe: I don't. Anthony: Excellent. Ashe: That's why we're investigating. Oliver: Right. Ashe: Besides, I think there's something unusual about it. Anthony: Define unusual. Ashe: Its shadow. Oliver: Ghosts have shadows? Ashe: This one does. Anthony: That's bad? Ashe: I don't know. Anthony: You sound excited. Ashe: I am. Anthony: You shouldn't be. Ashe: It's interesting! Anthony: Everything is interesting to you. Ashe: That's because everything is interesting. Oliver: She's got a point. Anthony: Don't encourage her. Ashe: Anyway, if the shadow reacts to us, don't touch it. Oliver: Why? Ashe: Because I don't know what it'll do. Oliver: That's not particularly comforting. Ashe: I know. Anthony: And you want to study it? Ashe: Obviously. Anthony: Of course. Ashe: Look, I've spent years reading about this stuff. I know what I'm doing. Anthony: You tried to teach a skeleton how to play cards last week. Ashe: And it worked. Anthony: It didn't have any hands. Ashe: That's why it was difficult. Oliver: Wait. Ashe: What? Oliver: The ghost is here. Ashe: Where? Oliver: Behind you.
