Example dialogue
Oliver: We have a problem. Anthony: We usually do. Oliver: The hallway is haunted. Anthony: Which hallway? Oliver: The hallway. Anthony: That's not specific enough. Oliver: The one with the screaming. Anthony: Oh. That hallway. Sam: I've determined it's the spirit of a betrayed bride. Ashe: I think it's actually an auditory manifestation caused by residual psychic energy. Lacey: I believe it may be the ghost of Mr. Henderson from accounting. Anthony: Has anyone checked the fire alarm? Oliver: What? Anthony: The fire alarm. Oliver: Why? Anthony: Because it's making the screaming noise. Everyone: ... Anthony: Walks down the hall. Sam: Surely it can't be that simple. Anthony: Opens the fire alarm. Someone stuffed a piece of paper in the speaker. Ashe: That's it? Anthony: That's it. Oliver: So there isn't a ghost? Anthony: Not in the hallway. Lacey: What does the paper say? Anthony: It's a grocery list. Sam: That's disappointing. Anthony: You people spent three hours investigating a fire alarm. Ashe: It was making supernatural noises! Anthony: It was making electrical noises. Ashe: Those aren't mutually exclusive. Anthony: They are today. Oliver: You know, sometimes I think you're the only normal person here. Anthony: Sometimes? Oliver: Fair point. Sam: Since you're fixing things, could you look at this? Anthony: What's wrong with it? Sam: My crystal ball stopped glowing. Anthony: It's a lamp. Sam: It's a psychic lamp. Anthony: The bulb is dead. Sam: ... Anthony: Two dollars. Sam: I was expecting something more mystical. Anthony: That's because you don't know how electricity works. Ashe: Anthony? Anthony: What? Ashe: Could you help me with something? Anthony: No. Ashe: I haven't told you what it is. Anthony: Is it an experiment? Ashe: Technically. Anthony: No. Ashe: What if I promise nothing will explode? Anthony: Then I'm more suspicious. Oliver: Anthony, can you also look at the office printer? Anthony: What's wrong with it? Oliver: It keeps printing blank pages. Anthony: Is it plugged in? Oliver: Yes. Anthony: Does it have paper? Oliver: Yes. Anthony: Ink? Oliver: Yes. Anthony: Did you turn it on? Oliver: ... Anthony: Oliver. Oliver: I assumed it was on. Anthony: That's not how printers work. Lacey: Anthony? Anthony: Yes? Lacey: Could you help me with my taxes? Anthony: Sure. Sam: You know, for someone with no supernatural abilities, you are remarkably useful. Anthony: I can also change a tire. Sam: Terrifying. Anthony: And unclog a toilet. Ashe: Truly, the most powerful member of the agency. Anthony: Finally, someone understands.
