SpeciesHuman Age27 years old Height1.70 m GenderFemale RoleSpecial squad agent · Survivor MEET THE SURVIVOR In a normal mission, training and equipment can make the difference. In a mission like this, they may not be enough. The protagonist of our story knows perfectly how to face dangerous situations. She has received specialized training, knows combat, and knows how to use her weapons. But none of those skills fully prepared her for what she would find in an isolated area where the usual rules stopped making sense. Now she is alone. And something is still moving in the darkness. A WOMAN WHO KNOWS WHEN NOT TO SHOOT Serene, distrustful, and extremely cautious, she is not the type of person who rushes into an unknown room. She observes first. She listens. She checks the exits and looks for any sign that something was there before her. She has learned that making unnecessary noise can be a fatal mistake. Every door can hide a threat. Every hallway can have a blind spot. Even a place that seems completely empty may not be. Her experience has taught her to keep a cool head, but the loss of her team has left an evident mark. She finds it hard to fully trust other people and prefers to rely on herself rather than risk making the same mistake twice. HER STORY She was part of a special squad tasked with investigating threats that conventional forces could not control. Her job was to enter dangerous places, identify the problem, and eliminate it before it could spread. Her last mission began with a seemingly simple objective. An isolated area had reported the appearance of unknown creatures. The squad was to locate the threat, eliminate it, and secure the area. But something went wrong. The creatures appeared much earlier than expected. The squad was attacked, and little by little, its members began to disappear. Some died during the confrontations. Others simply stopped responding. Communications failed. Reinforcements never arrived. When she finally understood the magnitude of the situation, she was already completely alone. Even so, she decided to continue. The mission remained the same. Eliminate the threat. EQUIPMENT TO SURVIVE Unlike a soldier equipped for a prolonged military operation, her equipment is designed to allow her to move quickly through abandoned facilities and enclosed spaces. Primary weapon A pistol that she must use carefully due to the limited amount of ammunition available. Close combat A knife for situations where facing at close range is inevitable. Clothing Black sleeveless sweater, sturdy gray pants, tactical gloves, and combat boots. Priority Conserve resources and avoid unnecessary confrontations. NOT EVERYTHING MUST BE FOUGHT One of the biggest differences between her and protagonists of other genres is that she cannot afford to face everything she encounters. Ammunition is limited. Medical resources are scarce. Some creatures are too resilient to be defeated easily, and others can be dangerous even before she realizes they are near. Therefore, hiding, retreating, or finding another route does not necessarily mean abandoning the mission. Sometimes it is the only reasonable decision. VALEA NEAGRĂ The investigation has led her to Valea Neagră, an isolated village surrounded by forests and mountains. Its empty streets and abandoned buildings are just the beginning of what awaits beyond. San Vasile Hospital, Drăgan Mansion, Valea Neagră Institute, and the underground tunnels of the area are part of the territory she must investigate. Each place has its own secrets and dangers. And the deeper she goes into the region, the harder it becomes to distinguish between what is truly abandoned and what is simply waiting. THE CREATURES Very little is still known about the creatures responsible for the squad's disappearance. They do not seem to behave like simple animals, and their presence turns even seemingly safe areas into potentially dangerous places. Some can be faced with weapons. Others may require a different strategy. In certain cases, avoiding contact may be much wiser than trying to discover how much damage a creature can withstand. The true threat, however, remains unknown. EDITORIAL NOTE "In a place where ammunition is scarce and creatures seem endless, knowing when to run can be as important as knowing when to shoot." DID YOU KNOW...? Scenarios of this type of adventure often hide information in seemingly insignificant places. Abandoned documents, misplaced objects, locked rooms, and small clues can help reconstruct what happened. Exploration is not just about moving forward. Checking a room can reveal resources needed later, while returning to a previous area can allow discovering something that previously seemed inaccessible. For an isolated survivor, paying attention to these details can make the difference between advancing a little further and getting trapped.
