SpeciesHuman Age30 years old Height1.80 m GenderMale RoleCriminal · Open-world inhabitant MEET THE INHABITANT At first glance, there is nothing particularly extraordinary about him. He is a thirty-year-old black man of average build, with short hair and casual urban clothing. He doesn't look intimidating or give the impression of being especially dangerous. But that completely ordinary appearance hides a life that could hardly be considered normal. Robberies, police chases, weapons, explosives, military vehicles, and several stints in prison are all part of his experience. The most curious thing is that he himself seems to consider all of that quite normal. A LIFE OF OPPORTUNITIES Carefree, opportunistic, confident, and impulsive, he tends to face problems with a simple attitude: if he needs something, he finds a way to get it. He doesn't usually worry too much about the consequences. Getting into trouble is part of his routine, and when a situation gets complicated, he usually looks for a way out instead of stopping to think too much. For him, an opportunity can appear anywhere. A parked car, a business that looks vulnerable, a military vehicle, or even a situation that should be avoided can quickly become the start of a new adventure. HIS STORY There is no great tragedy behind his criminal life. Nor is there a particularly important origin story that explains his decisions. He simply started committing crimes and discovered that he could handle himself quite well in that environment. Over time, he took part in robberies, heists, drug trafficking, and various illegal activities. He also developed an impressive knack for obtaining vehicles and using them when he needed to escape from the police. Over the years, he has stolen cars and motorcycles, flown planes, infiltrated military bases, and stolen vehicles belonging to the armed forces. On one occasion, he even ended up driving a tank through the city streets. He has also used explosives during some of his jobs and has ended up in prison on several occasions. However, none of this seems to have changed his outlook on things very much. When he ends up in prison, he simply pays bail and returns to the streets. EQUIPMENT FOR ANY SITUATION He doesn't need to carry a full arsenal to get around the city. A pistol is usually enough for most situations, although he knows how to resort to more powerful weapons when circumstances demand it. Primary weapon A pistol he usually carries to deal with dangerous situations. Greater firepower Rifles for confrontations that require more firepower. Explosives C4 used during some of his jobs and especially complicated situations. Specialty Obtaining vehicles and using them to get around or escape. THE CITY IS HIS PLAYGROUND One of the characteristics that best defines his world is freedom. There is no single activity he must constantly perform, nor a mission he has to follow to justify his existence. He can devote himself to committing crimes, exploring the city, driving, looking for new vehicles, taking part in side activities, or simply wandering the streets with no particular goal. He can also trigger a police chase, escape through the streets, switch vehicles, and continue with his day as if nothing had happened. The city doesn't need to tell him what to do. He decides what he wants to do with it. WESTBRIDGE Westbridge is a huge open city where urban areas blend with industrial zones, residential neighborhoods, rural roads, mountains, and coastline. Central District concentrates much of the urban activity, while Ironworks offers factories, warehouses, and industrial spaces. Greenfield spreads across residential and suburban areas, and Red Creek allows you to get away from the city and travel along rural roads. Harbor Point connects Westbridge with the sea, while Blackridge takes the open world into mountainous regions. Further south, Sunset Bay offers beaches, coastal roads, and recreational spaces. Each area can become the setting for a different activity. There is no single correct way to travel through the city. CARS, POLICE, AND CHAOS Vehicles are a fundamental part of his life. He can steal cars and motorcycles, use them to get around the city, or turn them into tools for escaping the authorities. But Westbridge can also offer much more absurd situations. He has flown planes, infiltrated military facilities, stolen military vehicles, and even driven a tank through the city. What would be a completely extraordinary situation for anyone else can simply become another anecdote for him. The police are not a permanent problem either. A chase can start at any moment, but eventually it will end. Afterward, the city continues to function and he can go back to doing practically whatever he wants. EDITOR'S NOTE "In an open world, the protagonist doesn't always need a mission. Sometimes he just needs a city, a vehicle, and enough freedom to discover what he can do with them." DID YOU KNOW...? He has ended up in prison several times, and yet his life continues practically as before. For him, going to jail seems to be little more than an unexpected pause before returning to the streets. He has also driven a tank through the city, which shows just how far the possibilities of this world can stray from everyday life. In Westbridge, a seemingly normal activity can turn into a chase, a robbery, or a completely absurd situation in a matter of minutes.
