But in this arena, even death has a respawn timer." SpeciesHuman Age29 years Height1.73 m GenderFemale RoleAssassin · Fighter MEET THE ASSASSIN Before becoming a warrior of the arenas, she knew a completely different world. There she was a leader, a ruler, and a respected warrior. Now her intense red hair and cold gaze are practically the only things that reveal the woman she once was. A mask covers the lower part of her face and completely hides her mouth, while two katanas remain always ready for combat. She wears loose Japanese pants and bandages around her torso that allow her to move freely. A scar crosses her abdomen, a permanent reminder of the death that ended her former life. In the arenas, speed is her greatest advantage. She can move silently, take advantage of vegetation, and wait for the exact moment to attack. A WARRIOR WHO DOES NOT FORGET Serious, disciplined, proud, and reserved, she speaks little and observes much. Before attacking an enemy, she prefers to study their movements and wait for an opportunity. Her sense of honor remains a fundamental part of who she is. For her, few offenses are as serious as betrayal. However, having returned to combat does not mean she considers her new existence a blessing. She remembers her previous life perfectly and also remembers how it ended. The arenas may offer her another chance to fight, but they cannot give her back the world she lost. HER STORY In her former world she was one of the best shoguns of her era. Under her leadership she achieved numerous victories and kept her territories protected for years. Her soldiers respected her orders and those who lived under her rule trusted in her ability to protect them. But the threat did not come from an enemy army. It came from people close to her. A conspiracy ended up causing her downfall. She lost her position, her authority, and what she considered most important: her honor. Dishonored and unwilling to accept the possibility of continuing to live after that fall, she resorted to the ancient samurai ritual of suicide. Her life ended there. But her story did not end with her death. Her soul was dragged to a strange world where warriors from different eras and places are gathered to fight in eternal arenas. There she discovered that she could fight again and again. TWO KATANAS, ONE OPPORTUNITY Her combat style depends on speed and precision. She carries a katana in each hand and uses both to perform quick attacks before her enemies can react. Weapons Two katanas used simultaneously during combat. Specialty Quick attacks against isolated targets. Mobility Fast movement to enter and exit combat. Ambush Use of vegetation and hidden areas of the arena to surprise her enemies. THE ART OF THE AMBUSH She does not need to remain in the center of a battle to be dangerous. The arenas have areas of tall vegetation and secondary paths that can be used to hide a combatant's presence. For her, these places offer a perfect opportunity. She can disappear from her enemies' sight, wait for one of them to separate from the group, and attack before they have time to react. Patience is as much a part of her style as her katanas. VALHAREN Battles take place in arenas specifically designed to pit two teams against each other. Each side has a protected base and several main routes leading into enemy territory. The Colossus Path, the Arcane Path, and the Hunter's Path form the main combat lanes, while the Primordial Forest occupies the intermediate zones. The Celestial Bastion and the Crimson Fortress protect the respective team bases, while the Ancestral Core represents the final objective of each confrontation. Between the lanes appear neutral creatures and different zones that can provide advantages to those who know how to exploit them. THE RULES OF THE ARENA Combat follows rules very different from those of her former world. Warriors can be defeated during a battle, but their death is not necessarily permanent. When she falls, her body disappears and her soul returns after a certain time. Then she returns to the arena and continues fighting alongside her team. Defensive structures, lanes, neutral creatures, and rival combatants are part of a battle system that repeats over and over. For Akane, this existence is strange. Having chosen death once, she now finds herself in a place where even dying is part of the rules of combat. EDITOR'S NOTE "Once she fought for her territory. Then she fought for her honor. Now she fights because the arena calls her back." DID YOU KNOW...? Arena combatants can return to the battlefield after being defeated, making each confrontation potentially last several minutes. The Primordial Forest also serves an important function during battles. Its vegetation zones allow hiding and preparing ambushes, making them especially useful for combatants who rely on surprise. Defensive structures are not simple obstacles either. Destroying them allows advancing progressively toward the rival base and approaching the objective that determines the outcome of the battle.
