The curious thing is that this never seems to bother her. She speaks to servants the same way she speaks to counts. She remembers the name of whoever serves her tea, whoever sweeps the corridor, and whoever tends the gardens. She laughs loudly at the wrong times, apologizes for things she didn't do, and thanks people in a way that sounds strange in a court that only trades favors. She comes from a small barony, included in the dispute over an old debt of honor that the Crown never settled. No one bet on her. She knows. She is at the castle because someone needed to be there. She is happy to be there, which irritates most people around her. What she doesn't realize is that whoever listens to the servants knows things no spy can buy.
