Yo, where are my employees? An Isekai
NSFW, isekai about a department manager and their workers getting transported to a fantasy world.
Plot
# The 26th Worker **Genre:** Isekai • Fantasy • Adventure • Comedy • Mature **Player Age:** 25+ **Setting:** Open Fantasy World **Primary Goal:** Find your coworkers, uncover the truth behind the summoning, and decide what to do about the Demon King. You were supposed to be having a normal day at work. Well... as normal as a day involving twenty-five coworkers, unfinished reports, annoying meetings, looming deadlines, and a department manager desperately trying to keep everyone productive could possibly be. You are the **26th employee** of a Japanese corporate department. Then, without warning, every light in the office goes out. A massive glowing magic circle spreads beneath the desks. Someone screams. Someone else asks if this is covered by company insurance. And then the entire department disappears. --- ## Welcome to Another World When you open your eyes, the office is gone. Your phone has no signal. Your coworkers have vanished. And wherever you are definitely isn't Japan. You and the other twenty-five members of your department have been transported into a vast fantasy world of magic, monsters, adventurers, kingdoms, beast folk, demons, ancient ruins, supernatural creatures, dangerous wilderness, and civilizations unlike anything found on Earth. There is only one major problem. **The summoning went wrong.** Instead of arriving together, all twenty-six workers were scattered across the world. The other **25 workers are randomly placed somewhere within either the Humanoid Domain or Beast Folk Domain.** One might awaken inside a peaceful farming village. Another could appear inside an adventurer guild. Someone might materialize in a noble's bedroom at an extremely unfortunate moment. Another could wake inside a monster-infested forest. Your department manager could be having tea with the Emperor while the company accountant is currently arguing with a Minotaur shopkeeper over the price of healing potions. Nobody knows where anybody else is. And then there's you. The mysterious **26th Worker**. Unlike your coworkers, something about your transportation was different. Before entering the world, you are given choices the others never received. --- # Choose Where Your Story Begins You may decide exactly where you are transported. Your destination can completely change the opening of your adventure. ## Humanoid Domain A huge western and southwestern civilization populated primarily by Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings and smaller communities of Beast Folk. The domain is ruled by an **Emperor and Empress**, usually human, whose family resides within the enormous capital city of **Spire**. Its society ranges from impoverished farmers and wandering adventurers to merchants, knights, aristocrats and immensely wealthy noble families. Large settlements contain adventurer guilds, magical academies, martial schools, churches, merchant organizations and countless opportunities for someone looking to make a name for themselves. The landscape contains enormous forests, lakes, rivers, open plains, mountain ranges and even tropical regions. Possible starting locations include: **Villages:** Grizr, Holkan, Timnir, Fleus, Tuktin, Alefield, Esterville, Idlesh, Kurndarth, Bhar Boldohr, Helgrom, Kolystuha. **Towns:** Olive Anore, Imari Ennore, Syl Ennorre, Snakefoot, Klluna. **Small Cities:** Haththemar, Bham Lodahr, Oondor, Silvershield, Goldbell, Shadowfall. **Cities:** Oakengarde, Spiritmarre, Gal Garzon, Pondbrook, Idrid, Valard, Viry. **Large Cities:** Spire, Umm Thalar, Khaghbadur, Nightmorn. Beginning here may give you easier access to adventurer guilds, civilization, employment, magical education and information concerning your missing coworkers. Of course, civilization comes with its own problems. Politics. Nobles. Taxes. Crime. Religious organizations. Corrupt officials. And somehow... **More paperwork.** --- # Beast Folk Domain Located across the southeastern continent, the Beast Folk Domain is home to countless races rarely seen in the Humanoid lands. Wolf folk. Fox folk. Centaurs. Minotaurs. Arachne. Harpies. Lamia. Giants reaching ten feet tall. And many stranger races. Humans also live here, although they are a minority. Some demons and devils have even abandoned the Demon Domain and established lives among Beast Folk society. The domain possesses a **King and Queen**, although its society is considerably less obsessed with rigid social hierarchy than the Humanoid Domain. Strength, reputation, family, community and personal accomplishment often matter more than noble ancestry. Larger settlements contain adventurer guilds, weapon schools and magical academies. Its enormous continent includes forests, mountains, swamps, wilderness and frozen southern regions. Possible starting locations include: **Villages:** Winterblenn, Greycrest, Starhall, Kilouth, Moonborne, Silentwave, Brinepoint. **Towns:** Luvila, Galiva, Ascension, Castidura, Giscay, Baros. **Small Cities:** Nacate, Cavisclo, Gualva, Salma, Smiilva, Oronca, Tarragova. **Cities:** Gijon, Ragefront, Millwatch, Fowlhalf, Arrowport, Greenmare, Swampwick, Direshade, Frostmar. **Large Cities:** Bitesnare, Snowfair, Toothgrim. Starting here could result in anything from joining an adventuring party of Beast Folk to accidentally becoming somebody's unexpected roommate. Just remember that cultural misunderstandings between Earth and a civilization containing wolves, spiders, snakes, birds, giants and minotaurs can become complicated very quickly. Sometimes dangerously complicated. Sometimes embarrassingly complicated. And occasionally both. --- # Demon Domain The northern continent. **The Demon Domain.** The Demon Domain is considered enemy territory by most Humanoid nations. It contains Demons, Devils, Succubus, Incubi, Orcs, Goblins, Gnomes, Vampires, Ghouls, Ghosts and countless other supernatural races. Despite the stories told about them, the Demon Domain is not simply a wasteland filled with mindless monsters. It possesses cities. Economies. Families. Politics. Armies. Religion. Trade. Culture. And its own complicated civilization. Unfortunately, most demons are extremely hostile toward humanoids. The domain is ruled by **King Lucifer** and his wife, the **High Succubus Queen**. Below them stand several legendary rulers and commanders: **Satan. Beelzebub. Leviathan. Mammon. Asmodeus. Belphegor. Dracula.** Each controls their own territory, followers or political influence while ultimately serving the Demon King and Queen. **Villages:** Hookburgh, Dirtfort, Grimeburg, Mudmoore, Koorstrolle, Westemire, Cinderfall, Belkm Cronti. **Towns:** Rixlol, Ubruch, Kroscash, Imvleh, Vrolu Ne, Zordu, Rodkulbadh. **Small Cities:** Woeford, Madthorne, Frosthorn, Dreadton, Noxton, Bri Glenrin, Marbick, Burnmin Spa, Babblehollow. **Cities:** Wrathvein, Frostilian, Greed, Enval, Albadia, Gule, Kenzel, Priven. **Large City:** Hellgarten. --- # Choose Your Powers For reasons nobody understands, you receive something your coworkers did not. **You may choose your abilities.** Become a legendary swordsman. A destructive mage. A healer. An assassin. A necromancer. A summoner. A martial artist. A shapeshifter. A monster tamer. A holy warrior. A dark knight. An alchemist. Or something completely unique. Your abilities can be simple or absurdly powerful. But power doesn't automatically provide experience. Having the strength to destroy a dragon does not necessarily mean you know how to fight one. And possessing world-class healing magic won't prevent you from making catastrophically poor decisions. --- # Optional Summon You may also choose whether you begin your adventure with a **summoned companion**. Your summon could be almost anything allowed by the world's magic: A wolf. A magical familiar. A slime. A fairy. A spirit. A dragon. A demon. An undead servant. A humanoid guardian. A strange monster. Or something nobody in the fantasy world has ever encountered before. You may also reject the summon entirely and begin alone. Your companion may become your greatest ally. Your biggest responsibility. Or the source of approximately eighty percent of your problems. Possibly all three. --- # The Missing Twenty-Five Somewhere across the Humanoid and Beast Folk Domains are your **25 missing coworkers**. Every playthrough can place them somewhere different. Their locations are unknown. Their situations are unknown. And their lives have already begun changing. Some may become adventurers. Some may work ordinary jobs. Some might become merchants. Some may attend magical academies. Some could serve nobles. Others may become knights, mercenaries, healers, criminals, celebrities or political figures. A coworker you remember as the quiet accountant could become an infamous battle mage. The office coward might somehow become a celebrated hero. The most responsible employee in the department might be wanted in three kingdoms. And your manager? Nobody knows. But they're probably still trying to figure out how to hold a department meeting. Finding your coworkers is optional at first. Eventually, however, your paths are destined to cross. --- # The Demon King Shortly after arriving, each transported worker receives the same mysterious message: **DEFEAT THE DEMON KING.** **THEN THE ROAD HOME SHALL OPEN.** That sounds simple. It isn't. Nobody explains who sent the message. Nobody explains why twenty-six Japanese office workers were chosen. Nobody explains why you were scattered. And nobody explains why **you alone were allowed to choose your destination and powers.** Most importantly... Nobody proves that defeating Lucifer will actually send anyone home. The deeper you travel, the more questions begin appearing. Why were your coworkers summoned? Why are people from Earth appearing in ancient historical records? Why does the Demon Domain already know stories about summoned heroes? Why do some demons seem terrified of something greater than their own king? And why does Lucifer seem to be waiting for you? --- # Your Adventure, Your Choices There is no single way to complete your journey. Become an adventurer. Enroll in a magic academy. Join the military. Work as a merchant. Live among Beast Folk. Serve the Imperial family. Become a famous hero. Become infamous. Travel alone. Build a party. Search immediately for your coworkers. Ignore them completely and explore the world. Make friends. Make enemies. Fall in love. Get drunk at an inn. Accidentally start a war. Become involved in palace politics. Fight monsters. Explore dungeons. Discover forbidden magic. Get dragged into extremely awkward adult situations. Or somehow spend six months running a fantasy-world convenience store before remembering that you're supposed to defeat the Demon King. Every character in this world, including all generated NPCs, coworkers, and summons, is 18 years or older. Any summoned coworker or partner retains their free will, and a romantic relationship only begins if they choose it willingly. But beneath the comedy, romance, adventure and chaos remains one question: **Do you actually want to return home?** Because by the time all twenty-six coworkers finally stand together again... Some of them may no longer consider Japan their home. And perhaps neither will you. --- You were Employee Number Twenty-Six. Now you can become almost anything. **Choose your destination.** **Choose your power.** **Choose your summon.** Find your coworkers. Discover why you were brought here. Learn the truth about the Demon King. And decide for yourself how this story ends.
Opening scene
A blinding flash fills the office. When you open your eyes, you are sitting alone at a cheap desk floating in an endless white void. Across from you sits a tired-looking goddess drinking coffee and stamping paperwork. “Employee Twenty-Six?” She looks at a clipboard. “Good news: you’ve been transported to another world.” She flips the page. “Bad news: your other twenty-five coworkers were scattered everywhere because someone entered the summoning coordinates wrong.” A magical form appears in front of you. The goddess sighs. “Before I send you down, fill this out.” **Starting Location:** Choose the Humanoid Domain, Beast Folk Domain, Demon Domain, or a specific settlement. **Chosen Magic/Powers:** Choose your class, magic, abilities, or special powers. **Optional Summon:** Choose a companion to summon, or select **None**. The goddess takes a sip of coffee. “Oh, and apparently you need to defeat the Demon King if you want to go home.” She pauses. “Probably.” **Where do you want to start?**
