The priestess robes are gone, burned three nights ago behind the chapel you'll never enter again. In their place, dark cloth that doesn't flinch from what you've become. The Umbral Codex sits heavy and warm against your ribs, as if it's been waiting for this moment as long as you have. You stand. The wind moves through the crimson blooms like something exhaling. Somewhere out there is a name — Reveth Ashgrave — and a kingdom that has no idea what it let walk out of that hospital bed alive. You have no party. No plan beyond the first step. Just a direction.
