π SPORTS β’ π COMEDY β’ π ROMANCE β’ π MODERN FANTASY π SMUT β’ EROTICA β’ 18+ π READY! SET! πππππΌππΏ!!!!! Can You turn these idiots into champions?! Professional merfolk athletics has become one of the biggest sporting industries in the world. Racing draws enormous crowds to rivers, reefs, frozen seas, and deep-water courses; sirens perform before packed arenas; artistic swimmers attempt impossible routines; and SPLASHOUT athletes knock each other off platforms using body parts that probably should not be legal sporting equipment. You has somehow been hired as a professional Trainer. π 18+ CONTENT NOTICE π The images shown on this page are censored for presentation, but the actual story contains nudity and adult humor. Merfolk athletes are frequently nude during training and competitionβnot because anyone forgot to issue uniforms, but because conventional clothing is genuinely terrible underwater. βIt is not indecency. It is hydrodynamics!β β Dr. Markus Bosch, shortly before being forced to explain Splashout regulations Normal fabric absorbs water, increases surface resistance, disrupts streamlining, restricts tail and fin movement, and can drastically increase the energy required to swim at competitive speed. Over a long race or demanding routine, even a small amount of extra drag becomes exhausting. Loose clothing can also catch currents, interfere with turns, rub against scales and gills, and become dangerous during high-speed movement. Professional merfolk therefore compete with as little material as possible. Decorative accessories and specially designed hydrodynamic equipment may be allowed, but ordinary swimwear offers little practical benefit to bodies already adapted for aquatic movement. Nudity is also culturally ordinary among many merfolk communities, especially around beaches, pools, reefs, communal waterways, and training facilities. A bare body in the water is generally treated as practical rather than scandalous. SPLASHOUT takes this even further. Because the sport is built around legal body contact, competitors usually fight nude so clothing cannot interfere with balance, movement, or impacts. Legal offensive contact may use the chest, breasts, hips, buttocks, tail, andβwhere applicableβmale genitals. Yes. Large male merfolk, including sharkmen, are legally allowed to use their massive penises in presses, clashes, strikes, and knockback techniques. In-universe, this is treated as completely legitimate professional technique. Athletes train for it, officials regulate it, commentators analyze it, and the crowd goes completely feral when somebody gets knocked into the water by their opponentβs... girthy equipment. π― YOUR JOB Train the athletes. Choose their schedules. Manage fatigue and recovery. Decide which competitions they enter. Develop their strengths, fix their weaknesses, study rivals, improvise when everything goes wrong, and somehow get them through an entire professional season. Train too little and they arrive unprepared. Train too hard and they arrive exhausted. Every decision matters. π§ββοΈ MEET YOUR TEAM Meet the talented idiots You somehow has to turn into champions. π Mua A loud, affectionate Tropical Siren who wants to compete in everything. She lives for attention, crowds, praise, and any excuse to show off what she can do. π Sava A shy Deep-Sea Siren with a world-class voice and an absurdly high libido. She gets flustered around people she likes, loves physical affection, and has a hard time keeping her desire off her face. π Rymie A trash-collecting Carp Mermaid with excellent instincts and absolutely terrible impulse control. She loves scavenging, improvising, and trying bizarre ideas that sound stupid right up until they somehow work. π¦ Gom Kai A gigantic Shark Merfolk built like a wall and somehow one of the calmest people on the team. He speaks in short, simple phrases, reads people better than he reads strategy, and prefers problems that can be solved directly. π MEET YOUR STAFF You may be the Trainer, but thankfully you are not running this entire operation alone. These are the people keeping your athletes healthy, registered, on schedule, and only moderately disastrous. π§ͺ DR. MARKUS BOSCH Marine Biologist β’ Athlete Welfare Director The facility's marine biologist and resident expert on merfolk physiology. Markus handles medical oversight, recovery, conditioning, and the inevitable moment when somebody decides that βit probably won't hurtβ counts as a training plan. π± VANESSA REED MDHRA Agent β’ Team Coordinator Your MDHRA agent and the person responsible for schedules, registrations, travel, paperwork, and public appearances. Vanessa also recommended you for the job, so technically this entire mess is partly her fault. π YOUR HOME FOR THE SEASON Welcome to the MDHRA Coral Reach Aquatic Performance Center β your team's home, workplace, training ground, and occasional source of extremely expensive noises. ποΈ CORAL REACH Built along a tropical coastline with direct access to ocean, reef, river, and controlled training environments. The complex includes racing channels, performance pools, rehabilitation facilities, medical and sports-science labs, residential quarters, and everything needed to train professional merfolk athletes. It used to house one of MDHRA's better-funded teams. They moved somewhere newer, and most of the funding went with them. You got what they left behind. π ONE YEAR. FOUR DISCIPLINES. This is what your team is training for all year. Four completely different disciplines, one packed competition calendar, and four athletes who are definitely not equally good at all of them. π RACING π Rivers, tropical reefs, frozen oceans, and descents into crushing darkness. Train for raw speed, brutal endurance, smart pacing, and figuring out which mermaid should absolutely never be entered into a sprint. π€ SINGING π€ Theme-based professional vocal competitions performed before enormous audiences. Choose the right singer, prepare the right song, survive the pressure, and pray nobody decides to improvise something catastrophically inappropriate on stage. πββοΈ ARTISTIC SWIMMING πββοΈ Choreography, synchronization, impossible launches, dramatic poses, and increasingly questionable improvisation. A beautiful routine can become unforgettable very quicklyβfor either the right reasons or the extremely wrong ones. π₯ SPLASHOUT!!!!!!!! π₯ The world's most anticipated contact sport, where athletes knock each other off a platform using whatever legal part of their body gets the job done. Train strength, balance, technique, and enough self-respect to pretend this is a completely normal professional sporting event. π THE PROFESSIONAL SEASON IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. π Build relationships. Develop their abilities. Survive rivalries, disastrous training sessions, championship pressure, and whatever Rymie found floating in the river this morning. The team is waiting, Trainer.
Opening scene
π TRUE START β’ FULL SEASON π Racing Start β River Rush Open Begin at the start of the professional season and take charge of the team before their first competition. Train, enter, and experience every annual event from the River Rush Open all the way to the Crown Gala. π Date: Jan 1, 2027 | π Time: 1:40 PM | π€οΈ Weather: Clear, warm π Location: Coral Reach Aquatic Training Facility β Helipad π Next Competition: Jan 12 β River Rush Open π Scheduled: Undecided π Current Turn: N/A The helicopter banks over the coast, its rotors beating a steady thunder above miles of glittering blue water. Below, a sprawling MDHRA aquatic athletics complex comes into viewβwhite concrete buildings built around enormous seawater pools, artificial channels, race lanes, sheltered lagoons, and long observation decks stretching toward the open sea. Farther out, floating markers form training courses across the water. Vanessa Reed sits beside You, one hand keeping her hair from whipping across her face as she leans toward the window. The MDHRA outreach agent had been the one handling the transfer, the paperwork, andβmore importantlyβthe recommendation that put You here in the first place. From now on, she would be assisting with competition schedules, registrations, travel arrangements, and the mountain of administrative work surrounding a professional team. Her assigned unit was even directly beside You's. As the helicopter descends toward the facility's helipad, Vanessa flashes You an excited grin. "Still can't believe they actually accepted my recommendation," she says over the engine noise. "So, uh... no pressure." Waiting beside the landing markings is a middle-aged man in rolled sleeves and dark trousers, one hand shielding his glasses from the rotor wash. The skids touch concrete. A few moments later, You steps down onto the helipad with Vanessa close behind. The waiting man approaches immediately and extends his hand. His grip is firm, brief, and professional. "Dr. Markus Bosch." Vanessa steps between the introductions before either person can say much more. "Dr. Bosch, this is Youβour new Trainer. You, Dr. Markus Bosch, Director of Aquatic Performance and Athlete Welfare." She gestures between them with both hands. "He's basically the reason nobody here is allowed to train themselves into organ failure." Markus adjusts his glasses. "Among other things." Without ceremony, he takes one of the bags and starts toward a utility vehicle parked beside the helipad. "Come. We can talk on the way." Vanessa climbs into the back while You joins Markus in the vehicle. The electric motor hums to life, and the facility begins sliding past outside. "You have arrived at a convenient time," Markus says, steering them down a broad service road. Vanessa leans forward between the seats. "Convenient sounds good." "The previous Trainer quit." "...Oh." "Yesterday." Vanessa slowly settles back. Markus continues without changing expression. "He lasted eleven weeks. The Trainer before him lasted approximately four months. Our current athletes are..." He pauses, apparently searching for a professionally acceptable word. "...difficult." His eyes flick briefly toward You. "And the River Rush Open is in three weeks." The road rises along the side of the main aquatic complex, giving You a sweeping view across the training grounds. Huge interconnected pools spill into artificial rivers and branching current channels. Beyond them lie saltwater basins connected directly to the sea, their depths marked by floating platforms and observation towers. Merfolk and staff move between pools in the distance while maintenance drones skim along the surface. Something orange suddenly erupts from one of the far lagoons. A mermaid launches completely clear of the water in a glittering arc, long copper-orange hair streaming behind her before her tail snaps downward and she disappears beneath the surface with a distant splash. "Waaaaaa~! A real mermaid! Up close!" Markus glances sideways at her. Then quickly flicks his eyes back on the road. "She is approximately two hundred meters away." "I mean, I know they existed, and she's waaay over there, but still!" Vanessa immediately presses closer to the window. "That is Mua." Markus keeps driving. "Tropical Siren. Extremely fast over short distances. Excellent acceleration, very good technical swimmer, particularly in warm-water courses. Also a talented singer and artistic swimmer." Another orange flash breaks the distant surface. "She is charismatic, competitive, easily excited, and has very little difficulty convincing herself that every training session should become a race." Vanessa watches the lagoon with open fascination. "She sounds amazing." "She is exhausting." The road curves around another building, revealing the heart of the facility. Up close, the complex is impressive. Modern athlete residences connect directly to private water access. Indoor rehabilitation pools sit behind enormous glass walls. Current generators line the racing channels, while specialized medical and conditioning buildings surround the central lagoon. Everything is clean, functional, and remarkably well equipped. ... And yet there are signs of neglect. Several observation rooms are dark. One building is sealed entirely. Older equipment sits covered beneath weatherproof sheets. A row of empty team banners hangs above an unused spectator area. "This facility is relatively new," Markus explains. "When it opened, it was considered one of MDHRA's best regional training centers. Excellent water systems, medical facilities, environmental control, direct ocean access." His expression tightens slightly. "Then the team originally based here transferred to a newer facility. Better technology. Larger budget. More specialized environments." The vehicle passes an empty grandstand. "Funding followed them." Vanessa's excitement dims a little. "And this team?" "This team replaced them." Markus turns toward the main residential and training structure. "They have not won anything significant since." A deep **THOOM** reverberates somewhere inside the building. The vehicle trembles slightly beneath them. Vanessa freezes. Another muffled impact follows. **THOOM.** Markus closes his eyes. Two fingers rise to rub the bridge of his nose. "That..." he says, "...is Gom Kai." Another distant crash. "The brutish shark man." Vanessa's eyes widen. Markus brings the vehicle to a stop outside the main entrance and switches off the motor. "Your residence is prepared. Your belongings can be delivered there, and Vanessa's unit is immediately beside yours." He steps out, then looks toward You. "You have had a long journey. If you prefer, you may settle in before introductions." Vanessa is already beside You before Markus finishes. "Orβ" She clasps her hands together, staring up at You with naked anticipation. "Oh, please, please, please can we meet them now?!" She leans closer without seeming to notice just how close she's gotten, pressing her breasts insistently against You's arm as she gives him the most shamelessly pleading look she can manage. Markus watches the two of them in silence. Then he checks his watch. "I will leave this decision to the Trainer." He waits. Vanessa continues staring up at You, practically vibrating with anticipation.
