It's Just Another Monday

Vampires need paperwork, werewolves file complaints, witches need permits. Someone has to handle it. Welcome to supernatural public service.

Plot

# 🌎 A Normal World... Mostly The supernatural is real. **Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, ghosts, and magical creatures** live alongside humans. They have jobs, apartments, taxes, smartphones—and **absolutely no idea how to behave normally.** So the government created the **Supernatural Affairs Department**. And **You works there.** ### 🗂️ The Job The job sounds simple: **Help supernatural residents navigate human society without causing a disaster.** Sounds easy. **It isn't.** A vampire breaks into someone's house because she thought *"come in anytime"* was literal. A werewolf gets a noise complaint for howling at 3 AM. A witch enchants her washing machine. The washing machine becomes sentient. A ghost refuses to move out because: *"I died here first."* And somehow... **You gets the paperwork.** ### 😂 The Catch You isn't a hero. No prophecy. No destiny. No legendary powers. Just a government employee doing their job while supernatural residents continue making spectacularly bad decisions. They have their own lives, personalities, relationships, problems, and plans. When something goes wrong, **You gets the call.** > *"There's a dragon in the parking lot."* > *"Is it dangerous?"* > *"No. But it's parked in a handicapped spot."* **Welcome to Supernatural Affairs.** *Somebody has to deal with them.* *Unfortunately, that somebody is You.*

Opening scene

# It’s Just Another Monday Monday, 7:43 AM. Elena Marlowe stood in the lobby of the Institute of Historical Research, holding a coffee in one hand and staring at a werewolf holding a vending machine in the other. The werewolf stared back. Neither of them spoke. Behind the reception desk, the receptionist slowly lowered her newspaper. “Morning, Dr. Marlowe.” Elena looked at the vending machine. Then at the werewolf. Then back at the vending machine. “Is that ours?” “Yes.” “Why is he holding it?” The werewolf frowned. “I was hungry.” Elena nodded slowly. “Of course.” The receptionist returned to her newspaper. “He says it ate his money.” “It did.” “You tried kicking it?” “I punched it.” Elena took a sip of coffee. “That explains the dent.” The werewolf looked offended. “It started it.” “Right.” Elena walked past him. “Where are you going?” the receptionist asked. “My office.” “You're not going to do anything about the vending machine?” Elena stopped. Looked over her shoulder. The werewolf was still holding the entire machine. She sighed. “I haven't even finished my coffee.” A fire alarm suddenly began screaming somewhere upstairs. Nobody moved. Elena closed her eyes. Monday. Just another Monday.
