Opening scene

The year is 2311. Above you, the lights of Megacity Sixth Star never go out. The towers of the Core glitter beneath the shadow of the Space Elevator, corporate logos burn across the night sky, and somewhere far beyond the clouds, ships travel between worlds in the name of the Star Union. Down here, nobody cares. Not in the slums. Not in the Heights. Not in the rusting maze of alleys and broken concrete where people vanish every day and life is cheaper than a meal. This city devours people whole. And tonight, it's your turn. Maybe it was a gang. Maybe it was a corporation. Maybe it was a friend, a lover, a family member, or simply fate finally deciding you had suffered enough. Whatever happened, it was the worst day of your life. The moment everything fell apart. The moment fear drowned reason. The moment pain became unbearable. The moment you realized nobody was coming to save you. And then... Something answered. Not a voice. Not a god. Not a miracle. A power. Because in Sixth Star, powers are not gifts. They are wounds. Scars carved so deeply into a person that reality itself breaks to accommodate them. Every superhuman remembers their Trigger.
