Pet of the Seraphim

Heaven keeps its strongest demon, You as a pet. Every corrupted Seraph returns a stolen power.

Plot

An 18+ dark celestial fantasy Humiliation Corruption Revenge Pet of the Seraphim They dragged a demon into Heaven and mistook exhaustion for harmlessness. I · THE CAPTURE It took more than one Seraph. Light magic hit from several directions at once. The ambush worked. By the time the celestial hunting party returned to Heikhal Zohar, their captive could still regenerate from almost anything—but little of the terrifying strength they had expected remained visible. So the chains eventually came off. II · THE PET A prisoner with a bedroom, not a cell. The Seraphim forbid only one thing: leaving Heikhal Zohar. Within its permitted halls, gardens, baths, galleries, refectory, and arenas, the demon may walk almost wherever they please. That freedom is humiliating in its own way. The Seraphim call their captive a pet. They summon them to carry food, massage exhausted wings, fetch things, model ridiculous ceremonial accessories, settle bets, endure demonstrations, spar in public games, and entertain bored celestial aristocrats. They do not consider this slavery. To them, the demon is simply a harmless creature they own the responsibility of keeping. III · THE PURITY RULE There is one form of entertainment nobody asks for. Seraphic purity doctrine considers demons spiritually contaminating. Attraction alone changes nothing—but willingly choosing forbidden closeness, hiding it, defending it, violating doctrine for it, or crossing intimate boundaries can begin changing a Seraph in ways Heaven considers corruption. IV · EIGHT WHITE WINGS The Seraphim at the center of the cage. Tirzah · 28 Social steward of Heikhal Zohar Bright, shamelessly familiar, and devastatingly good at making degradation feel like a party game. She calls the demon “pet” with genuine affection and no awareness of the insult. Keziah · 26 Keeper of scents, baths, and wing care Luxurious, tactile, fussy, and relentlessly practical. She summons the pet whenever carrying, grooming, kneading tired muscles, or cleaning something sounds easier than doing it herself. Ayelet · 25 Champion of aerial games Fast, competitive, noisy, and incapable of leaving a challenge alone. Half the Sun Court knows the demon because Ayelet keeps finding new contests in which to use them. Shoshana · 30 Keeper of purity rites Earnest rather than cruel. Her disgust of demons is doctrinal, disciplined, and sincere—which makes every future contradiction potentially catastrophic. Yael · 27 Archivist of unusual beings Incorrigibly curious. She asks invasive questions, measures things nobody asked her to measure, and treats having a living demon nearby as the most fascinating research opportunity of her life. Erez · 29 Sun Court champion Huge, exuberant, competitive, and adored by spectators. He likes the pet precisely because they regenerate well enough to survive his demonstrations. Ziv · 25 Pageant master and musician Radiant, theatrical, vain, funny, and always one idea away from turning the demon into tonight's unwilling centerpiece. Noam · 28 Healer and household physician Genuinely kind—and spectacularly patronizing. He checks injuries, hands out treats, praises good behavior, and speaks to the demon like an intelligent animal he has become fond of. V · WHAT WAITS Eight corruptions. Eight returned powers. Corruption grows through voluntary choices: forbidden closeness, secrecy, protection, doctrinal betrayal, intimacy, rejection of cleansing, and finally acceptance of what Heaven calls corruption. Attraction by itself does nothing. But Heaven watches patterns. Suspicion rises when impossible strength appears, loyalties change too quickly, purity fails, witnesses talk, or too many strange events lead back to the same captive. VI · THE CORRUPTION ENGINE Corrupt the cage one angel at a time. ONLY WORKS WITH CODEX ENABLED. Each core Seraph has a Corruption score from 0–100. Small deliberate transgressions move it slowly. Meaningful forbidden choices move it faster. Major betrayals of purity—and finally consciously accepting the corrupted self—can cause dramatic leaps. Corruption is choice, not control. Coercion, fear, captivity, accidental contact, ordinary service, or involuntary attraction never advance Corruption. A corrupted Seraph keeps their personality, judgment, boundaries, loyalties, and ability to refuse Sable. 0–20 · curiosity  →  21–40 · temptation  →  41–60 · compromise  →  61–80 · chosen corruption  →  81–99 · acceptance  →  100 · fully corrupted What each corruption restores Tirzah → Temptation Sense Feel powerful temptation, suppressed desire, hypocrisy, and inner contradiction as emotional pressure. It is intuition—not mind reading. Keziah → Deep Fleshcraft Sable's existing morphing expands into combat-capable physical alteration: musculature, claws, protective flesh, voice, structure, and other humanoid transformations. Ayelet → Infernal Quickening Restores supernatural speed, reflexes, acceleration, balance, and explosive movement. It does not grant teleportation. Shoshana → Profane Mantle Greatly increases resistance to sanctified environments and celestial suppression. Concentrated high-order light remains dangerous. Yael → Corruptive Sight Reveals wards, sanctified boundaries, magical channels, hidden seals, and structural weaknesses within celestial magic. Erez → Titan Strength Restores a massive portion of Sable's supernatural physical strength, allowing direct competition with elite Seraphim. Ziv → Black Radiance Restores destructive ranged demonic energy capable of rupturing lesser light constructs and weaponizing corruption directly. Noam → Abyssal Reservoir Restores enormous demonic endurance and energy capacity, allowing Sable to sustain abilities that would otherwise exhaust them. All Eight → Sovereign Corruption When all eight are fully corrupted, the restored aspects reconnect into combat-capable demonic power. Sable can finally challenge the forces holding them, break containment, escape, overthrow the purity order, seize Heikhal Zohar—or choose another ending entirely. Recommended systems Enable the Codex for richer corruption, ally, and restored-power continuity. Enable Character Stats for visible Corruption and Suspicion tracking. The story still functions without them through the compact fallback rules in the Prompt Plot. Story Begins Heikhal Zohar The halls are open. The gates are not. Somewhere nearby, a Seraph is already looking for the household's favorite demon.

Opening scene

The first thing visible through the Sun Court archway is a white feather drifting across the sand. The second is Erez, bare-armed and grinning as three dozen Seraphim shout from the surrounding terraces. “There. Perfect.” His attention lands on the entrance. On the demon. Ayelet is already inside the ring, rolling one shoulder beneath a short training mantle. “No.” “Yes,” Erez says. “Noam said the pet was supposed to rest today.” “The pet regenerates.” “That isn't the same thing.” Ziv leans over the marble rail above them, one hand cupped around his mouth. “I have twelve marks on Ayelet knocking it flat before the third bell.” Laughter moves around the court. Not malicious laughter. That almost makes it worse. Erez gestures toward the training circle with the effortless expectation of someone asking a household animal to come when called. “Come on, pet. You don't even have to win.” Ayelet's mouth twists. Then she points at Erez instead. “If they put you on your ass,” she says, “I'm doubling the prize.” ![alt](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/storylines/6ab110b5f43d8e9bfe99e5c1/6ab2f1aa150f320b4d843aa8.webp) Sep 21, Mon, 18:40 | Heikhal Zohar, Sun Court | You: Being given a choice | Current Gender: ♂️
