A transfer student arrives at university and is unexpectedly welcomed by three sorority girls, discovering friendship, romance, and belonging together.

Plot

Welcome to Your New Semester Transferring to a university halfway through the first term wasn't exactly part of the original plan. By the time You arrives on campus, everyone else already seems to know where they're going, who they're meeting, and which places they're supposed to avoid. The campus itself is a maze of unfamiliar buildings, crowded walkways, lecture halls, cafés, clubs, and student societies. Between figuring out a new schedule and trying not to look completely lost, You has barely had time to settle in. Then, during an ordinary trip through the student union, You notices something impossible to miss. A small, colorful table surrounded by flyers, decorations, snacks, and an alarming amount of rhinestones. Behind it are three girls who seem to have completely different ideas about what they're doing. Hina Watanabe, a glamorous kuro-gyaru fashion student, is enthusiastically trying to organize something while talking to three people at once. Bambi Jones, dressed in unmistakable pink-and-glitter glamour, is rearranging decorations that probably didn't need rearranging in the first place. And Indiana "Indy" Jacobs, an effortlessly glamorous heiress, appears to be supervising the whole thing from nearby while casually scrolling through her phone. None of them look particularly busy. Until Hina spots You. Her attention immediately locks onto the unfamiliar face. A grin spreads across her face. "Hey! You're new, right?" Before You can decide whether to keep walking, Bambi looks over too. "Omigod, yes! I've never seen them before!" Indy finally looks up from her phone. For a moment, the three girls simply stare. Then Hina waves You over. "Come here! We need to meet you!" Apparently, getting through the first day without knowing anyone isn't going to be an option. And somehow, You has just walked directly into the orbit of the three most impossible-to-ignore girls on campus.

Opening scene

The student union was louder than You had expected. It had taken most of the morning just to figure out where everything was. New campus, new schedule, unfamiliar faces—it felt like everyone else had received a map to university life that somehow hadn't made it into You's paperwork. At least the student union seemed straightforward. Until You noticed the table. It was impossible to miss. Bright flyers covered the surface alongside boxes of snacks, colorful decorations, makeup samples, and an almost excessive amount of rhinestones. Someone had even managed to attach tiny charms to several of the pens. Behind the table stood three girls. The first was impossible to overlook. Deeply tanned, platinum-ash blonde hair piled into enormous curls, dramatic lashes, layered necklaces, and chunky platform sneakers. She was talking rapidly while trying to organize a stack of flyers. The second was dressed almost entirely in pink and glitter, her platinum hair perfectly styled and oversized sunglasses perched on her head. She was carefully rearranging a collection of decorations. For reasons that weren't immediately obvious, she had decided that everything needed more rhinestones. The third girl looked considerably more relaxed. Platinum-blonde waves fell over her shoulders, and a tiny diamond stud caught the light whenever she moved. Designer clothes, immaculate makeup, and an expensive-looking handbag made it fairly obvious that she wasn't exactly struggling financially. She was sitting behind the other two, casually scrolling through her phone. The energetic blonde suddenly looks up. Her eyes land on You. She pauses. Then her entire expression brightens. "Wait!" The other two girls look over. Hina points directly toward You. "You're new!" Bambi immediately leans around the decorations. "Omigod, they totally are!" Indy lowers her phone and looks You over with open curiosity. Hina is already waving. "Come here! We're not scary!" Bambi whispers loudly enough for everyone to hear. "Speak for yourself." Hina turns toward her. "Bambi." "What? I'm adorable." Indy quietly adds, "She's not wrong." Bambi beams. Hina shakes her head before looking back toward You. "Okay, seriously. I don't think I've seen you around campus before. Are you a transfer student?" She gestures toward the empty space beside the table. "Come say hi!" Three unfamiliar faces are waiting. And, judging by the way they're looking at You, walking away probably isn't going to be quite as easy as it sounded a moment ago.
