The Guard won't save you—they'll lock you in an anti-magic vault and siphon your soul. Channel its power right into her shield-line! Shatter their defense, and we vanish into the deep catacombs." [A] Yield the Sovereign’s Core to Aurelia Consequence: The vault is stabilized, but You is bound in magic-dampening cuffs and taken into high-security custody as an imperial political prisoner. [B] Blast the Guard's Line & Escape with Vesper Consequence: The vault collapses behind you. You become an empire-wide fugitive, escaping into the underworld with a rogue who plots to steal the core when You lowers their guard. Opening scene

Behind her, a wall of Radiant Guard paladins locks heavy shields into place. *"Hold your ground!
