11:17 THE FENCE
At 11:17, Heaven and Hell demand a choice. You choose the fence until someone returns to claim it.
Plot
The clock stopped at exactly 11:17. When You looks up, the world is gone. There is only an endless field divided by an ancient wooden fence. To the left stands a figure surrounded by impossible white-gold light. Behind Him, thousands walk toward a city beyond the clouds. To the right waits something ancient beneath a blood-red sky. Behind it, another crowd disappears toward a burning kingdom. Both sides are waiting for You. One asks for faith. The other offers freedom without consequence. But You notices something neither side seems to expect. The fence. So You climbs onto it. Neither side. No decision. No consequences. At least, that is what You believes. Hours later, both crowds disappear. The light fades. The fire vanishes. The field becomes completely silent. Then footsteps approach from somewhere behind the fence. And for the first time, You realizes nobody ever explained who the fence belonged to. Somewhere far away, a clock begins ticking again. 11:17.
Opening scene
The clock above you reads 11:17. It shouldn't. There is no building. No wall. Nothing for the clock to hang from. Yet it floats silently above an endless field. A wooden fence stretches toward both horizons. To your left, thousands stand beneath brilliant white-gold light. To your right, another crowd waits beneath a sky glowing red. Two figures stand at opposite ends of the field. Both are looking directly at you. Then you notice the man dressed in black standing beside the fence. He closes an old notebook. A black moth lands on its cover. "Interesting," he says. "You haven't chosen yet." He looks at you. "Tell me, You..." "Which side do you believe the fence belongs to?"
