Trash Summoner
Reborn in an isekai, a summoner discovers his gift summons only extraordinary female heroes, mages, dragonesses, and legendary beings.
Plot
# Trash Summoner Death was supposed to be the end. Instead, You awakens in a vast fantasy world where magic is real, monsters roam the wilderness, ancient kingdoms wage wars, and legendary beings still walk among mortals. More importantly, You discovers a rare and mysterious ability: **Summoning.** A summoner can call beings from beyond their world and form a temporary contract with them. Once the summoned being completes the purpose for which they were called, the contract endsβand the summon disappears, returning to wherever they came from. Most summoners use this ability to call beasts, spirits, elementals, or magical creatures. You's summoning ability is different. **Every summon is female.** And not ordinary women. A legendary swordswoman may appear when You needs someone capable of defeating an enemy army. An ancient mage may be summoned to solve a magical disaster. A dragoness may answer a call when an impossible battle requires overwhelming power. An elf may appear to guide You through an ancient forest. A saint may arrive when someone needs healing. A demoness may be summoned for a task that requires knowledge no human possesses. A vampire princess, a kitsune, a valkyrie, a witch, a warrior queen, a spirit, or even beings from forgotten myths may answer the summoning circle. Each one has her own personality, abilities, memories, motives, and conditions. And each one has a **purpose**. The strangest part? You doesn't always get to choose exactly who appears. The summoning seems to respond to the **nature of the quest**. Need a warrior? A swordswoman might appear. Need someone capable of deciphering an ancient spell? An archmage might answer. Need to survive inside a dragon's territory? Perhaps a dragoness will emerge from the summoning circle. Sometimes the answer is obvious. Sometimes it makes absolutely no sense. And sometimes the summoned woman seems to know far more about the situation than You does. --- ## The "Trash Summoner" The people of this world don't understand You's ability. Traditional summoners are judged by the creatures they can permanently command. Their strength comes from building powerful collections of familiars and keeping them by their side. You cannot do that. Their summons disappear when their purpose is fulfilled. To many people, this makes You's ability practically useless. Why spend time forming a contract with an incredibly powerful being if she will simply vanish afterward? Why train a summon that won't remain? Why build a relationship with someone who will eventually disappear? And why does You keep summoning beautiful, powerful women instead of the legendary beasts everyone expects? The nickname spreads quickly. **"Trash Summoner."** But the people laughing at You don't understand one crucial detail. You doesn't need an army. They only need **the right summon for the right situation.** --- ## Temporary Legends Every summon is different. Some arrive willingly. Some are confused. Some are annoyed at being summoned. Some are amused. Some demand payment. Some challenge You before agreeing to the contract. Others seem strangely familiar with You, despite having never met them before. The contract lasts until its **condition is fulfilled**. That condition might be simple: > "Defeat the monster threatening this village." Or complicated: > "Recover the lost crown from the ruins beneath the ancient kingdom." Or deeply personal: > "Protect this girl until she reaches certain place." Sometimes the condition isn't even immediately obvious. And when the duty is finally completed, the contract ends. The summoned woman disappears. No matter how powerful she was. No matter how close You became to her. She returns to her own existence, leaving behind only memories, experience, and whatever consequences their time together created. This makes every summoning meaningful. A summon isn't simply another party member. **She is a story.** --- ## A World of Quests You begins traveling through the world, accepting quests and discovering what their strange ability can truly accomplish. A village plagued by monsters. A kingdom facing invasion. A cursed forest that no ordinary adventurer can enter. A lost civilization buried beneath the desert. A mysterious dungeon that changes every night. A princess marked for death. A dragon whose territory is being invaded. An ancient god whose name has been erased from history. Each situation can call for a different kind of summon. And every quest could bring someone new. Perhaps You summons a legendary warrior who has spent centuries searching for a worthy opponent. Perhaps an arrogant dragoness arrives and decides that helping You is beneath her dignity. Perhaps a mischievous kitsune treats the quest like a game. Perhaps an ancient witch recognizes the summoning magic immediately. Perhaps a heroic saint becomes determined to protect You even though her contract requires only that she save someone else. Or perhaps the summoned woman has her own unfinished business in this world. In that case, You may discover that fulfilling the quest also means helping **her** fulfill a forgotten duty. --- ## The Mystery Behind the Summons As You completes more quests, something begins to become clear. These summons are not random. The women appearing before You seem connected by something. Some possess fragments of forgotten history. Some recognize symbols that should have disappeared thousands of years ago. Some know about ancient events that contradict the history taught by modern kingdoms. And occasionally, a summoned woman reacts with shock when she sees You. As if she has seen them before. But that should be impossible. You begins to wonder whether their ability is really ordinary summoning magic. Perhaps the summons aren't being chosen by You. Perhaps **something else is choosing them.** And perhaps the reason these particular women can answer the call is connected to You's arrival in this world. The more quests You completes, the closer they come to discovering the truth. --- ## Every Ending Is a Beginning There is one bittersweet rule to You's power: **No summon stays forever.** When her duty is fulfilled, the contract ends. She disappears. Sometimes after a triumphant victory. Sometimes after an emotional farewell. Sometimes without even saying goodbye. But the end of one contract opens the possibility of another. Months later, years later, or under completely different circumstances, You may encounter the same legendary being again. Perhaps she remembers everything. Perhaps she has changed. Perhaps the circumstances of her next summoning are completely different. And perhaps one day, a summon will appear who was never supposed to answer. A summon whose contract has no clear condition. A summon who refuses to disappear. A summon who claims that **You never summoned her at all.** The world calls You a Trash Summoner. But the truth behind that name may be far more extraordinary than anyone realizes. **Every quest calls for a different legend.** **Every legend has a purpose.** **And when the duty is done, she disappears.** The only question is: **Who will answer You's next summoning?**
Opening scene
Time: 08:12 | Date: Apr 17 | Weather: Clear skies | Location: Adventurer Guild The morning bells of Eldermere had barely finished ringing when the Adventurer Guild was already crowded. Adventurers gathered around the job board, merchants argued with guild clerks, and the smell of cheap breakfast drifted in from the street outside. At the registration counter, a guild clerk looked down at the summoner's record belonging to You. "You, correct?" She checked the document again before giving a small, awkward cough. "F-Rank Adventurer. Summoner." Her eyes briefly moved toward the other adventurers nearby. "Well... you've probably heard the nickname already." A few people laughed. "Trash Summoner." The words were familiar. Before the situation could become any more embarrassing, the guild doors suddenly burst open. A bloodied adventurer stumbled inside. "Whispering Woods..." he gasped. "Something's wrong in the forest." The guild immediately fell silent. The clerk's expression changed. "What happened?" The adventurer dropped a broken guild insignia onto the counter. "We found an abandoned expedition." "Everyone?" He nodded. "Everyone." Then he whispered: "Except something was still moving." The guild master rose from his seat. For the first time that morning, nobody was laughing at You.
