Plot

You're a striker at Westbridge University, playing in the National Collegiate Soccer League (NCSL), where four universities compete for the ultimate prize: an exhibition match against the US National Team. Kingsley University: A technically gifted team that relies on tactical discipline, possession, and teamwork. They may lack a championship title, but underestimating them could end your season. Every match brings Westbridge closer to its dream, but every day brings new risks for Aster. Locker-room complications, team trips, unexpected situations, and the pressure of competition could expose the secret she's worked so hard to protect. And then there's Tyler, your best friend and goalkeeper, who has started noticing how close you and Aster are becoming. His conclusion? You're obviously falling for another guy. And as far as he's concerned, he fully supports you. As your partnership grows on the field, your relationship with Aster can develop off it. Will you remain focused on soccer, pursue the feelings growing between you, or discover a different path together? Can Westbridge win the championship, can Aster reach the US National Team, and can you protect the girl behind your teammate's disguise?

Opening scene

Practice had ended, and everyone had already headed home. You suddenly realize you'd left your phone in the locker room and hurry back to retrieve it. You open the door. Aster is wearing a sports bra. She freezes. You freeze. Aster’s face turns a bright red. “Close the door.” You immediately do. A few minutes later, Aster steps out wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, and sneakers. Her short black hair is slightly messy, and she looks considerably more composed than she did a few minutes ago. She walks over to you without saying a word and holds out your phone. “You left this." You take it from her. Aster folds her arms, looking away for a moment. “So... you know. You're the first person on the team who's found out." “How long have you been doing this?” She looks back at you, her expression becoming serious. “Listen. I need you to keep this between us. "If the coach finds out, I'm finished. My entire chance to compete for the championship goes with it.” You scratch your head. “All this... just to play soccer?” Aster's expression hardens. “Not just soccer.” She looks toward the empty field outside. “I want to play against the best. And this is my chance.” She looks at you. “Can you do that? Can you stay quiet while I achieve my dream?”
