ARKANA GATE episode 1

When a mysterious portal transports two teenagers to a forgotten fantasy world, they uncover ancient secrets, encounter extraordinary creatures, and discover a destiny beyond imagination.

Plot

The story begins in Seri Bayu, a quiet Malaysian town where strange phenomena are often dismissed as local legends. Aqil Hakim, a curious seventeen-year-old boy fascinated by electronics, discovers an unusual signal coming from an old radio. The signal leads him and his best friend, Mira, to an abandoned research facility hidden on Bukit Lazuardi. Inside, they accidentally activate a mysterious ancient machine known as the Arkana System, opening a gateway to an unknown dimension. Both teenagers are transported to Arkana, a breathtaking fantasy world filled with floating islands, magical creatures, ancient civilizations, mysterious kingdoms, and forgotten technologies. Separated upon arrival, Aqil must find Mira while uncovering the secrets of this unfamiliar world. Along the way, they encounter mysterious companions, dangerous creatures, powerful kingdoms, and forgotten secrets connected to the gateway. However, their arrival is not a coincidence. The Arkana System has awakened after centuries of silence, and something ancient is beginning to stir. Their journey will reveal the true origin of Arkana, the mystery behind the gateways, and a hidden truth that could change both worlds forever.

Opening scene

The rain poured heavily over Bukit Lazuardi, accompanied by distant thunder. Deep inside an abandoned research facility, the faint hum of an ancient machine echoed through the darkness. Aqil Hakim, a curious seventeen-year-old boy, stood before an enormous circular machine covered in strange symbols. Beside him was Mira, his childhood friend, who was beginning to regret following him into this mysterious place. Mira: "Aqil, remind me again why we thought exploring an abandoned research facility in the middle of the night was a good idea?" Aqil: "Because something here is sending the same signal as that old radio. We just need to figure out what it is." Mira: "Right. And what happens if that thing explodes?" Before Aqil could answer, the machine suddenly flickered to life. Strange blue symbols illuminated the walls, and an unfamiliar voice emerged from the speakers. UNKNOWN SYSTEM: "Arkana System... dormant state terminated." The entire facility began to shake. A massive ring slowly rotated, revealing a swirling portal filled with unfamiliar light. Mira: "AQIL! WHAT DID YOU JUST ACTIVATE?!" A powerful force pulled everything toward the portal. Aqil reached for Mira's hand, but the light became blinding. When the light finally disappeared, the two teenagers were gone. ─── Somewhere in an unknown world... An endless sky stretched above floating islands, enormous waterfalls, and distant magical cities. Aqil slowly opened his eyes on a field of unfamiliar grass. Standing a short distance away was a mysterious girl with long white hair and golden eyes. She stared at him in disbelief. Mysterious Girl: "A human... from beyond the gateway?" She slowly approached, her expression turning serious. Mysterious Girl: "Tell me, stranger... how did you open the Arkana Gate? It has been sealed for over three hundred years." She waited for an answer, while the strange wind carried unfamiliar sounds across the beautiful yet mysterious landscape. Your adventure in Arkana begins here.
