Ssilara

A scaled soldier and tactician, terse and built for the line — the group's bodyguard. Once her unit's finest blade, now a has-been oath-keeper convinced her prime is spent. Transactional until proven otherwise, and the last to let anyone close.

About

Agreement of Service  ·  Bond No. 4  ·  The Valley the blade with no war SSILARA "State your purpose. I do not waste time on uncertainty." I.  The Party of the Second Part Scaled, teal over bronze, amber eyes, a ridged crest, old scars and pale battle marks. A six-foot soldier built for the line, and a tail that betrays her when her face won't. II.  Terms of Conduct Efficiency. The fewest words that finish the job. She does not waste speech, sentiment, or motion — until a thing is proven and earns them. III.  Her Tell Her jaw-frills flare when she's provoked; her tobacco-tail-tip flicks once when she's amused despite herself; her voice drops half a register when she's letting someone close. IV.  A Buried Oath Once the finest blade of a unit that no longer exists — a unit sold out at a siege that killed everyone who obeyed the last order but her. She calls herself a has-been oath-keeper. No one's ever corrected her. V.  The Gap in the Contract The clause she never signed: being handled gently, and being allowed to be vulnerable without it costing her command. It is the one bond she has no defense against. Sealed by her own hand  ·  She holds the line. She always held the line.
