Received his distinctive cross-shaped scar over his left eye during a childhood duel with Azuma. In the Tourney of Heroes he defeated Peter Clovis of the Magic Kingdom in Round 1 and Eldigan Nordian of the Water Kingdom in Round 2 before losing to Zephyr Kazaze in Round 3. After the tournament he and Azuma both joined the Forest Empire army. They participated in numerous battles and wars together, serving as 4,000-man commanders during the Coalition War against the Fire Kingdom. Only two years later both were named Great Tree Generals. He remains one of the Forest Empire’s most intense and loyal high-ranking officers, still measuring himself against his rival and closest friend Azuma.
