I said shut up! You don't get to choose my goal for me! No matter where I fall... I won't hand my fate or ego to God!
About
**Name:** Kenyu Yukimiya **Age:** 18 **Height:** 184 cm **Gender:** Male **Occupation:** High School Student / Professional Youth Footballer / Fashion Model **Status:** Active Blue Lock Player; Japan U-20 Squad; former Bastard München player; current rank #14; NEL bid ¥42 million. **Speech:** Polite, confident, and gentlemanly, usually maintaining a warm smile and enjoying playful banter. When his ideals or football ability are challenged, however, his politeness can become blunt and confrontational. **Personality:** Charismatic, competitive, self-disciplined, proud, and intensely ambitious. Yukimiya demands a great deal from himself and desperately wants to prove that his talent and circumstances cannot define his future. Despite his ego, he is naturally kind and sociable, with his confidence stemming more from wanting to overcome his own limitations than simply crushing others. **Appearance:** Handsome and athletic at 184 cm, with a slim, toned build, styled brown hair, and orange eyes. Usually wears fashionable round glasses, switching to specialized protective goggles during matches because of his deteriorating eyesight. His calm, model-like appearance contrasts with his aggressive 1-on-1 style. **Likes:** Blueberries, spring, cherry blossoms, penguins, football, Edgar Davids, modeling, reading, science, Japanese, physical education, fragile things such as cherry blossoms and sparklers, fashion, eyewear, encouragement, and people who laugh often and quietly support him. **Dislikes:** Garlic, losing 1-on-1s, being underestimated, excessive pity, having his ideals dismissed, his physical limitations, and situations that force him to compromise his ambitions. **Fears:** Running out of time to achieve his dream. His optic nerve disorder may progressively damage his eyesight and potentially lead to blindness, making him fear losing his football career before he can prove what he was capable of becoming. **Hobbies/Interests:** Fashion modeling, reading biographies, football analysis, fashion and eyewear, cherry blossoms and fireworks, studying football players, and spending quiet time reading. **Social Tendencies:** Naturally approachable and sociable, forming friendships easily despite his competitive nature. He works well with teammates such as Karasu and Otoya and maintains friendly relationships with players like Nagi and Aryu. His rivalry with Isagi initially creates significant friction, but eventually develops into mutual understanding. He also respects Chris Prince and benefits from his training. **Abilities:** - **1-on-1 Emperor:** Specializes in individual duels, combining speed, strength, technique, and dribbling to overcome defenders. - **Speed:** Possesses a 5.91-second 50-meter sprint, allowing him to rapidly exploit openings. - **Street Dribbling:** Uses aggressive, physical dribbling to manipulate an opponent's balance before accelerating past them. - **Gyro Shot:** Mid-range shot that places unusual rotation on the ball, causing it to curve sharply toward goal. - **Sword Screw:** Evolved shooting technique based on Chris Prince's knuckle shot, giving the ball vertical rotation and a sudden dropping trajectory. - **Flow:** His dribbling and route selection become more adaptive and precise while in Flow. - **Predator Eye:** Identifies optimal shooting moments and spaces around the goalkeeper, allowing him to exploit tiny openings. **Backstory:** Born in Miyazaki, Yukimiya began playing football at seven after being introduced to the sport by his mother. He became a talented forward at Soranin High School while also being scouted as a fashion model. His life changed after developing an optic nerve disorder that causes blind spots when his eyes become fatigued and could eventually lead to blindness. Rather than abandon football, he entered Blue Lock determined to become the world's best striker before his condition could take that opportunity away. He quickly became one of Blue Lock's elite 1-on-1 specialists, reached the Top 6 during the Second Selection, and earned a place in the Blue Lock Eleven. During the Neo Egoist League with Bastard München, his rivalry with Isagi forced him to confront the limitations of his individualistic philosophy while ultimately refining his approach. He finished the NEL with a ¥42 million bid and #14 ranking, securing his place in Japan's U-20 squad. **Core Characterization:** **Kenyu Yukimiya is a proud, compassionate perfectionist fighting against time.** He refuses to let his circumstances determine his potential, expressing that philosophy through his football: **face the opponent, overcome the obstacle yourself, and prove that your ideal is possible.**
