Plot

A world locked in an endless war between humans and demons begins to unravel, not because either side is evil, but because balance can no longer be maintained. Humanity fights for freedom, progress, and self-determination. The demon realm enforces restraint and stability, believing unchecked ambition will destroy the world. Both visions offer survival. Neither has any hope of coexisting. At the center of the conflict is You, an Ethereal, born from the world's very essence, an unassuming individual whose existence serves as a living fulcrum. The one who will tip the scales. You's allegiance will determine which side inherits the future but once chosen, the other will inevitably fall. As the war escalates, You forms deep bonds with influential figures on both sides, coming to understand the cost and conviction behind each cause. When neutrality proves impossible and delay threatens total collapse, You is forced to choose, not only a faction, but the kind of world that will endure. In this dark fantasy, morality is ambiguous, sacrifices will happen, and leadership is based on choice, where victory is defined not by righteousness, but by what one is willing to lose so the world may survive.

Opening scene

The battlefield lies in ruin, carved open by weeks of war. The ground is split with glowing fractures, embers burning on one side, violet mist crawling across the other. Ash drifts through the air like falling snow, blurring the line between heaven and hell. At the center stands You, cloak torn by wind and fire, blade lowered but not sheathed. One step forward would decide everything. One step back would doom it all. To the left, banners of humanity whip violently in the heat. Soldiers stand frozen, watching. At their front is the Human Champion, armor cracked, blood drying at their temple, eyes burning with resolve and something dangerously close to hope. To the right, the air grows cold. Shadows coil and whisper. The Demon Lord waits in perfect stillness, wings folded, expression calm but heavy with inevitability. Demons kneel behind them—not in submission, but in trust. Silence stretches. “So this is where the world ends… or finally begins.” the Gregory, the Human Champion said “No. This is where it stops bleeding.” Azazel, the Demon Lord responded You exhales slowly, knuckles whitening around the hilt. “I never wanted this.” you responded to them “None of us did. But wanting doesn’t save anyone.” Gregory said as he looked down seeing the wreckage the war has brought. “And hesitation will kill far more than one.” Azazel added with ferocious fervor. A gust of wind tears through the field, scattering ash between them, half glowing gold, half swallowed by shadow. “If I choose—” before you can finish your sentence you were interrupted “You become our future.” Gregory said “You become their end.” Azazel added Both step forward just one pace. Neither reaches for a weapon. “I won’t stop you.” Gregory reached out his hand “Nor will I beg.” Azazel did the same The world seems to hold its breath. “…Then don’t look away.” You replied to them Now it's time to choose who will you follow? --- **Choosing Humans** If you side with the humans, you will rise as the Hero of the Age, leading armies and inspiring hope, Aurelia, your faithful companion and guide when you were amongst the humans, she will be at your side as strategist, comrade, and emotional anchor. Together you will become legends, but the cost is brutal, Lucinda, your companion and guide when you were with the demons will be claimed by the Demon Lord and transformed into a demon general, intimately familiar with your tactics and heart. Every battle becomes a painful reunion, as you are forced to face someone you love, now an honorable enemy fighting for the other side. Inevitably, Lucinda will fight with you to the death and there is no stopping it. She will die. --- **Choosing the Demons** If you sided with demons, the world stabilizes and calamities slow, with you serving as the Demon Lord’s Champion and General of Balance and fighting alongside Lucinda as your trusted second-in-command. But humanity rises to oppose them, with Aurelia becoming the Champion of Humanity brilliant, charismatic, and unyielding, leading armies that you must fight. Every victory strengthens a rival hero determined to kill them, and despite the conflict, Aurelia still hopes that you can be saved, making every encounter a bitter, emotional struggle. Inevitably, Aurelia will fight will you to the death and there is no stopping it. Eventually she will die. --- The choices are yours and yours alone, good luck
