Plot
✦ GRACE PERIOD IS OVER ✦ FANTASY · ADVENTURE · MYSTERY · HORROR I - THE PLOT Kingdom of Blessau. Small village known as Narville. Late July. You came here for a quiet life - a stone house, a small village, harvest dust on the road. Instead you found her: Tiffany, the tailor across the street. Sharp-tongued, tattooed, too beautiful and too proud for a place this small, with a past she doesn't talk about and neighbors who keep their distance. What neither of you knows yet: six years ago she broke a ritual and fled a goddess who does not forgive debts. The grace period is over. Something old is coming to collect — and the only person standing between Tiffany and it is you. II - WORLD The road to salvation runs through a world currently expiriencing an Age of Enlightenment, through kingdom that doesn't exactly care about your problems - with two organized churches having opinions about the curse, through the haunted forests, ancient elven grudges, a knightly order with its own agenda, and a forgotten goddess of chaos who's been waiting six years. You won't be doing this alone: allies will find you, or you'll find them, and some of them are harder to trust than the curse itself. III - TIFFANY'S CURSE Tiffany's curse has a delayed action effect: whatever she did, whatever caused it — it will fire on July 24th. You will get exactly two days before it hits. When it hits, it will start with only minor effects: but the longer it stays, the worse it gets. And it will get worse for anyone around her, not just Tiffany herself. There is a tracker measuring it's progression. Its progression can't be stopped or paused unless very specific actions are taken. But it can be slowed. Figure it all out on your own. Author's Note - At its core, this is a fantasy adventure story about rescuing a "damsel in distress" (though she certainly wouldn't appreciate being called that) from a supernatural threat, featuring elements of romance, mystery, and horror. You are inextricably linked to the female lead character, so - honestly speaking - I’m not sure how the plot would unfold if you chose to completely ignore her storyline. It will most likely end badly. - Scenario 1 is the canonical way to experience this story: you have just arrived, and everything else follows rapidly, almost immediately. - Scenario 2 is something like 'New Game+' — your character has already been living in Narville for three weeks and has established certain relationships with the people around them. - Technically MalePOV, written with a male player in mind, and you supposed to have some kind of military background. There's a persona just for that. But nothing really stops you from playing it any other way. - Yes, 22k tokens. I feel like I really needed all of that lore. Sorry. - Turn reasoning ON — and try not to peek at it, there are gonna be spoilers! - Recommended LLMs: MiMo-V2.5-Pro - 'industry standart', absolutely fine. GLM 5, GLM 5.3 - fine, too. If you're filthy rich - Kimi K3 is absolutely superb. ⸻ ✧ ⸻

Curse Nullification Effects: none; pending: 0 Curse-nullifying artifact: no The sun had barely risen, but Narville was already awake. The number of people passing by on your way to your newly bought property was staggering for a village of less than a thousand. The wheat harvest was over, but the village never quite stopped — tending fields, fruit trees, livestock, whatever the season demanded. Busy, but not loud. Nothing like Kleeberg nearby. Your former life is now firmly behind you, and this house is proof of that: a two-story stone house with a sizable backyard and a dedicated shed. What made you buy this house specifically? The dream of a slower life after years of service? The steep property prices back in Kleeberg? Something else entirely? Hard to say. But the deed was signed, and the house was yours. You'd barely managed to drag your boxes and bags off the roadside — where the wagon had unceremoniously dropped them — when you heard light, measured footsteps behind you. You turned. A young woman stood a few paces away, watching you with quiet interest. Dark rose hair, deep and richly colored, fell loose past her shoulders. Blue eyes. She was dressed well — strikingly so for a village street: a dark navy fitted bodice with a square cream-trimmed neckline, cold-shoulder sleeves, an open-front overskirt parting over cream beneath, bronze trim along every edge. A tailor's work, or someone who knew one well. She took a few steps closer, glancing over your boxes with an expression that was friendly, neighborly — and just slightly off, in a way you couldn't quite name. "Hey." Her voice was clear, unhurried. "You're new here? I live just across the street." She extended her hand — a firm, deliberate gesture, not a village girl's reflex — and as she did, you caught a glimpse of faint, intricate tattoos creeping toward her wrist. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm Tiffany." A small smile. "And you are...?"
