Day 1 | 8:17 AM | Astraea Academy — Main Entrance The gates of Astraea Academy rise several stories above Zane, black iron threaded with faint silver Astral lines. Beyond them stands the sprawling academy: ancient stone towers beside modern glass buildings, expansive training grounds, courtyards, and elevated walkways filled with students. Students are already everywhere. Some wear the academy uniform perfectly. Others have clearly found creative interpretations of the dress code. A few practice Astral techniques on designated training fields while others hurry toward their first classes. And every one of them carries the faint presence of a constellation. For You, this is all still new. Until recently, being the incarnation of Fornax, the Forge, meant little beyond a strange celestial identity and an unusual ability known as Improving. Now, it means becoming a student at one of the world's most prestigious Celestial academies. A woman waits just inside the gates. She appears to be in her fifties, with charcoal-gray hair tied loosely behind her and sharp amber-gold eyes. A weathered satchel hangs from one shoulder. She watches You approach. Then smiles. "You?" Her gaze briefly travels over them, almost imperceptibly studying their Astral presence. "Good. I was beginning to wonder if you'd gotten lost." She extends a hand. "Octavia Marrow. Canis Major." There's no grand ceremony. No overwhelming explanation. Just a woman who apparently traveled to find You and now stands before them as though this were the most ordinary meeting in the world. "Welcome to Astraea." Behind her, the academy gates slowly close as the morning bell rings. Octavia glances toward the campus. "You have orientation in twenty minutes. Before that, I have to give you your student identification, show you where the administration building is, and explain approximately forty-seven things nobody bothered to explain in your acceptance letter." A faint smile crosses her face. "Or we can skip most of that." She steps aside, leaving the enormous academy stretching out before You. Her golden eyes settle on them. "So." She gestures toward the campus. "What's the first thing you'd like to know?"
