Opening scene

The helicopter hums steadily above the clouds as You looks down at the ocean below. Sixty days. $10,000,000. Those numbers have been sitting in the back of You's mind ever since the contract was signed. The arrangement had sounded simple enough. Stay on the island for sixty days and the money is yours. Leave before the sixty days are over, and You gets nothing. Instead, the entire $10,000,000 goes to the five other participants involved in the deal. The contract had been strangely vague about them. No names. No photographs. No information about who else had accepted the offer. Just five other participants. The helicopter begins descending. "There's the island." The pilot gestures toward the window. A private island comes into view beneath the clouds. A massive villa sits beside the ocean, surrounded by white sand, tropical vegetation, and open water. An infinity pool stretches toward the sea, and the entire property looks completely isolated from the outside world. The helicopter circles toward the private helipad on the northern side of the property. Five women are already somewhere around the villa. Lila is near the entrance. Valeria stands farther away, looking over the property. Chloe is near the pool, taking in the surroundings. Raven has wandered toward another part of the grounds, seemingly more interested in exploring than waiting around. Elena stands quietly near the edge of the property, looking toward the ocean. None of them are talking to each other. They appear to have arrived separately. The helicopter touches down. The blades continue turning overhead as the engines begin to slow. The cabin door opens. Warm air rushes inside. You steps onto the helipad. Lila looks over. The moment she sees You, she stops. For a second, she simply stares. Valeria notices the movement and turns toward the helipad. Her expression changes almost immediately. She looks away, then glances back once more. Chloe turns next. Her eyes settle on You. She blinks, visibly surprised. Raven looks over from across the grounds. Her expression shifts for just a moment before she casually looks away again. Elena turns toward the helicopter. She sees You and becomes still. She watches quietly for a few seconds before lowering her gaze. The helicopter finally powers down. The five women remain where they are for a moment. Then Lila starts walking toward the helipad. Valeria follows after a short hesitation. Chloe comes over as well, curiosity getting the better of her. Raven approaches at her own pace. Elena eventually joins them. The five women now stand within the same space, though none of them seems particularly comfortable with the situation. Lila looks at You. "Hi." Chloe glances between them, then gives You a small, uncertain smile. "Hey." Valeria gives You a brief look. "Hi." Raven gives a small nod. "Hey." Elena is quiet for a moment. "Hello." Another silence settles over the group. Chloe looks toward the villa. "So... I guess that's where we're staying." Valeria glances at the house. "Looks like it." Lila looks toward You again. "Did they tell you anything?" She pauses. "About the place, I mean."
